I have been using the mount to convert my EF 75-300mm lens for my R50 body, and it's been a seamless transition. Can't recommend enough!!! Worth the money.

EF to R lens adapter - OK EF, not Tamron

A mount adapter that permits long-tern Canon camera users to use those EF lens's, some that are excellent and quite expensive, with your new R5 camera body. A simple job to do, and it seems to work OK with my EF lens, but my nice Tamron ultra-wide angle lens is not usable due to strong vignetting.

Works fine

I was gifted an R7 to replace my 77D. I don't have the funds currently to buy new lenses so I bought the adapter so that I could use what I have. I haven't used it much, shot some wildlife photos while on vacation. It worked fine for that.

Excellent adapter for older EF/EF-S glass

I had hoped to be able to get all new RF lenses but was unable to before a trip and so I ordered the basic adapter and used it with a Sigma 18-300mm EF-S lens on the trip with excellent results. The adapter and EOS RP body gave excellent sharpness and colors. Sharpness was better that I have ever achieved on a T2i and 77D. Now I may look to get some good EF lenses to use with the adapter but I love the 2 RF lenses I have purchased so I get the best of both worlds.

Works well with all my EF lenses. The overall camera length is then about the same as if they mounted on my old SLRs.

EF to R lens adapter

Works flawlessly. Excellent fit/finish - like a part of the camera, not an attachment. Only thing missing is tripod mount (like the EF-M adapter would be great).

Seems a little difficult to go on my camera. I have tried several times and each time is the same.

Whoever in Canon came up with the concept for these adapters deserves a promotion. It has allowed me to keep utilizing my "investment" of Canon lenses. It is easy to use and it just works.
