Excellent Temperature Control

I was very hesitant to spend this kind of cash on a pan. I finally bit the bullet and purchased this one. Nearly all my cookware and Toaster Oven are Calphalon. This sauce pan has made a world of difference in how nearly anything turns out. It's dense material and ability to retain heat and perfect temp control makes it well worth it

The pot handle is a trade-off.

Excellent cooking and easy cleanup. The lid is flat with a handle that overlaps the pot handle. Great for stacking but a bit of a pain when putting in dishwasher - takes up more space than a conventional pot lid.

Design issues

Because of additional piece with rivets makes it heavier and harder to clean than similar Calphalon sauce pans. Not sure what the purpose of this piece is apart from stacking. If this is the case, I think the cons outweigh the pros.

I love my Caphalon stackable pot set. Very heavy, excellent quality and love the stackable feature. Just trying to find more pieces here and there to increase my set. Highly recommend these.

I bought the small sauce pan as an add on for a set my husband purchased for me as a gift. I absolutely love these pans! Easy to clean, even when you burn something. Being able to stack these saves space in my drawers and lids are easy to see what’s cooking and line up nice in the dishwasher.
