Do not go for this Fridge

Unfortunately this is my second review on the fridge, my first delivered fridge had uneven doors and was told it was supposed to be like that then the delivers guy some how scratched the front door so deep silver was shining through the length of the door, so I get a replacement the unleveled doors are just a manufacturing problem per the Lowe’s delivery guy because the replacement fridge doors are not level as well, okay googled how to fix it and there others out there with the same problem so ...

Problems after two months with product and service

The freezer and beverage drawer have stopped maintaining temperature and everything is melting. Bodewell, the GE service provider, has outsourced to a company for this area. They haven't returned our service call after two days, so not only is GE's product useless so is their service. If you buy this fridge makes sure you buy a second one that is not GE so you have one that works when this one fails.

This could have been an Excellent review, but No!

I love so many things about this refrigerator, but the fact that I cannot change the water filter is expensive and annoying. I have tried to replace my genuine GE water filter with 2 different (expensive) genuine GE water filters, which according to GE are the correct filters for my fridge, but the fridge does not recognize them. It displays an "ERROR" "Water Filter" and will not dispense water or ice. I have 4 GE Cafe appliances in my home and 6 GE Profile appliances in my winter condo. I ...

Disappointed

Like another reviewer stated below for 5,000 bucks you’d think this fridge would be white all the way around lol yes I should have realized this while online shopping however I was focused on the front and the black back is so ugly ugggg so for those who don’t do research like me beware the fridge is white and pretty in the front with a black box back which is my fault, so I have it delivered so it will be in perfect condition welllllllllllll that didn’t happen first thing I notice one door high...

Organization challenge

I wish the door shelf on the right side could adjust. There’s no room for a wine bottle standing upright in this fridge unless you give up a shelf. Otherwise it’s a nice addition to our kitchen.

The two guys were great and a perfect job

Both guys were very professional unloaded the refrigerator actually let me look at it and approve professionally bought it into the house without damage set up cleaned it up. Tell me about the refrigerator and what I needed to do and wish me a happy safe Fourth of July.

Perfect for soggy ice cream treats

After many many many repairs for freezer failure our freezer still does not function properly. If you enjoy soggy ice cream this is the freezer for you!! They will throw repair after repair during warranty period but do not actually stand behind their product.

I can move easier in my kitchen

The blue packing film SUCKS!

I love the refrigerator, however, I gave it 4 stars due to the issues removing all the blue protective film. I spent HOURS trying to get it off & still some remains. It makes the fridge less esthetically pleasing! ☹️

DOA Refrigerator

Lowe's delivered this refrigerator with the incorrect handles and didn't ensure it was working before leaving. I now have a refrigerator installed with no handles and a does nothing but light up. It was dead on arrival with no quality control prior to delivery. Lowe's suggested that we schedule a GE technician to repair the fridge. Left Door Will Not Stay Open

This refrigerator was delivered and installed but the left side door will not stay open on its own from the very beginning. We finally got around to calling Lowes installation team to fix it and they would not come out because we didn't call them within 30 days (we have been managing a renovation so we are just now resolving these minor issues).

Doesn’t cool -GE doesn’t stand behind lemons

Update to earlier review. Still do not recommend this fridge. GE came out again for the 3rd/4th/5th time and installed parts and supposedly fixed the problem. Our ice cream was frozen for a few days but is now back to being disgustingly soft and mushy. Very frustrating to pay so much money for a fridge that continues to have cooling issues.

Really nice fridge

This fridge is amazing, and looks great. Fits the space perfectly, and huge interior. The middle refrigerated drawer is so convenient. I really like the water pitcher dispenser and auto-refill. We didn't put any magnets on because it looks so nice.

Terrible exterior

While the inside of the refrigerator is beautiful, the outside is horrible. There’s something wrong with the stainless steel. I returned my first one as I thought it was just that model but the replacement has the same awful etching on the door above the fridge in the exact same place so there is clearly something wrong with their stilss stainless.
