Ratings & Reviews for Cafe 30 inch Convertible 350-CFM Stainless Steel Wall-Mounted Range Hood

Less of a product issue, more of a Lowe's issue

We purchased this item as part of a GE Cafe package for a townhome build in process. As often does the build got delayed some so installation is actually happening a couple months after purchase. At time of delivery the box this item came in looked like it had been put through the wringer, but the delivery team opened it and everything seemed okay. However when we subsequently opened the item to do test fitting with cabinet installation we discovered the shroud was both dented and scratched d...

Garbage

Was delivered with a broken Motor, dented ,with halogen bulbs with wires attached so the bulbs are$100.00. They burn out every 6 months. They have a wire on them so you can't replace them. Only through ge. Called ge. They wanted a number. Yhere is no number on the item so I will be throwing it in the garbage, where it belongs

Looked better online

Kind of disappointed with this. The hood cover is so flimsy and cheap looking. It has a seam that is held in with screws. You cant see the screws but the seam is so unattractive looking and CHEAP material for the cover. Its very loud too. Not what I expected.

Looks stunning!!!

I have gotten so many compliments on this piece. It looks so beautiful, modern and chic. Definitely adds appeal to any kitchen.

Works and looks great!!!

We like this hood a lot. It works and looks great.

Chimney Design

I had my new Vent Hood installed about 1 month ago. I purchased the Hood because it had a modern style and it matched all my other GE Slate appliances. My issue with this Hood is the chimney. The place where the two pieces fit together is terrible. The two chimney pieces do not firmly attach to one another. The metal is so flexible that if you go to dust, the top piece could fall down. The chimney pieces need to have a screw hole so you can screw the two pieces together or design the botto...

Beautiful

The appliance that should not be missing in the kitchen

Sleek, sexy and smokeless!

This hood has a clean, modern look to its functionality.

Looks good

The unit is good overall. Two items; the hood is two different colors and the little assembly screws are too small to anchor to the metal brackets.

Really nice product

Recently remodeled my kitchen and the European design of this fit the need perfectly

high end appliance

I have purchased other GE appliances for other houses that I have renovated and have no problems with any appliances an they are very high end in looks and operations. You keep your appliances up to date in looks which sell houses.

Fantastic stove all the way round.

I bought this stove specifically because of the double oven, and I'm sooooo glad I did. It's amazing to be able to cook two separate baked dishes at different temperatures at the same time. The electronic oven controls are a bit awkwardly placed, but using the lock feature handily prevents "oopsies". I haven't used the convection bake feature of the lower oven as yet, and it's a very nice option to have. The stove is easy enough to keep clean, also a plus.

Strong and quiet

After reviewing many vent hood options, in person and online, we chose the GE Profile series, and have no regrets. It is the strongest and quietest vent hood we have ever had in any of our homes.

range hood

I love this unit. It rattles until you purchase the filter to go with it.
