Good overall

Many features that I love. Several issues with induction rings- lights on controls keep blinking. Air Fry and Convection oven works very well. I would like to have an audible cooking timer as I really miss my old one. I am still on a learning curve and I know that I can set a timer on my phone but really would prefer on on the range.

INDUCTION IS THE BEST!

I’ve been using this oven for several years now & still totally love it. The induction cooktop is amazing. Took some getting used to as it heats up so quickly so I boiled over a lot in the beginning. Love the stylish control knobs. Oven is roomy & cooks evenly. I really use the small top oven the most & it’s great for small family. Loveeeee

I absolutely love my double oven, induction range! I love how quickly it heats and cooks. Love the induction technology and how food doesn’t burn on the hot surface. It’s easy to clean and beautiful looking. I get so many compliments on it. Highly recommend!

Perfect heating

Absolutely love this stove, it boils water faster than gas, the broiler crisps perfectly, and oven bakes evenly. No worries for seniors leaving gas on, it will not heat unless metal is on top of stove. It’s sleek looking, and the features are amazing.

Flawed design, get the longest warranty you can.

It was great when it worked, but flawed. Get the longest warranty you can. We bought the range July '21, took delivery Dec '21. In May '22, the range generator board failed and numerous attempts were needed to get parts to complete the repair in Nov '22. Now the generator board has failed again, outside of warranty this time, and will cost 1/2 of the price of the range new. It was great when it worked but flawed design makes it unreliable, difficult to repair, and very expensive.

Mixed experience

It’s a lovely stove. But, the online and app experience is horrible. And you’re forced to go through the app to use certain features like air fry. Terrible user experience there. Also, in my case, the top rack won’t pull out of the upper oven without forcing it and scratching and gouging the interior finish. No good. Bottom racks work fine. Top oven light doesn’t come on.

Love 2 ovens

I loved my original Cafe stove so much, I bought another when we moved to another home. I wamted two ovens, and this model offers that. The upper oven is small, so it preheats quickly and I use it most often. The lower oven accommodates large pots and baking pans, perfect for family-size gatherings. The only improvement I would suggest is trim around the stovetop perimeter. I did somehow break off a bit of glasstop on the original stove, so a bit of trim on the edge would help prevent that.

A CUT ABOVE!

This is the first induction stovetop that we've owned. We love how it heats up so fast. Once you master the settings it's like butter. If we could change one thing we would switch the bottom oven and it's features with the top oven. Oh well, either oven performs very well with the wife's new cookie business!

Great versatility

We have been using this oven for about a month so far. We love the precision of the stove top and the choice to use one or both of the ovens. I love pizza and the smaller oven is perfect, especially on hot days when trying to limit heat in the kitchen.

Great purchase!

Great appliance. Precise controls, preheats qickly and accurately. Temps are very consistent, and the stovetop and oven are very easy to use. Looks great as well!

Best stove out there

I love this stove. I'm no stranger to induction and after moving into a new home, I had to have another. My previous stove was a GE Profile and I loved it. I decided to step up to the Cafe double oven. I love the proof mode for making breads and the induction top does not disappoint at all! I love being able to cook a meal at one temperature and a side dish at another. I wish I had gotten a double over years ago.

still hping to correct

I did a ton of research. Selected Cafe based on positive reviews and ease of repair. My stove was not temperature correct. It's taken at least 2 visits to correct.

Poor burner layout, bluetooth unnecessary

We have used this range CHS950P2M6S1 for two years. With two of us in the household with occasional guests, I have enjoyed the double oven. When I roast a large piece if meat or large bird, I use a electric roaster outside on the patio. My biggest complaint is the way the burners are organized because they are super fussy about matching the right sized pot with the right sized burner, and the right front burner is humongous. The induction is very good. We love the large knobs vs the touch sensitive pad on other induction models. It really does look great.

Nasty Smell

I have no idea if the ovens are any good or not. Every time we turn the ovens on there is a nasty biter smell. Will be trying again but if it still smells like chemicals we will be replacing it with someone else’s product.

Two ovens but only one timer is a horrible design

We decided to replace our 13 year old double oven range with this Cafe model. I cook and bake a lot and can't believe that GE designed a two-oven range with ONE TIMER (which you can barely hear). Our old double oven range had two timers. Disappointed that I have to purchase timers. However, I am enjoying the induction stove top.

Overall Pleased!

Love the double oven. Just don't like that you have to use a pan that is pretty close to the actual size of the burner on the stove. Forces me to use the same burners over and over and rarely use certain burners. But, I knew that going in. The stove is functioning wonderfully

I love the look of this stove and the features!! After using a "Magic Chef" stove that dates almost as old as my house, I welcomed my new GE Cafe induction stove with double oven. I AM still old fashioned enough that I wish it came with a physical instruction manual, and it did not. Also, much to my surprise, it did not come with an air fryer basket. otherwise, it would have gotten 5 stars hands down!

Great range

The range has performed exactly as expected. It has been easy to figure out the various features.
