Hard to operate

This dishwasher is hard to operate. The buttons are difficult to engage. The soap dispenser doesn’t work after it was installed waiting for new parts. It was fitted crooked in its space and the door hits the cabinet. Not happy.

Leaked from day one - waiting 3 weeks for service

Our dishwasher is attractive, but leaked from the very first day. We called our plumber, thinking it was a connection issue with the pipes, but he found that the seal in the back right corner of the machine is faulty. It will be three weeks before a GE service person can repair this brand new dishwasher. Terrible service!

Very quiet!

So quiet that I had to look at the lights to make sure it was actually running the first time I used it. Would be nice if the interior was lighted but not a necessity.

Waste of money

Don’t waste your money, dishes remain dirty after 3 hour wash cycle! Top grate contains to slide all the way out where it has dishes or not! Rebalanced it after “professional GE installation” same result. Baskets are PLASTIC and very low quality, waiting for them to break! Beyond disappointed! Only got this one because I have other quality Cafe appliances which are fantastic. Dishwasher is not worth the premium price for a cafe appliances!!

Very Happy

We have been very happy with our Cafe' dishwasher since installation. It is very quiet and performs very well. We haven't had to rewash anything yet. We usually run our diswasher each night and if it wasn't for the app telling me when it was done you wouldn't even know, thats how quiet it is. It is also very efficient with the cleaning and drying.

Second Review To Include More Issues

I wrote an earlier review about the top rack breaking and the overall interior quality bring poor.Now water is leaking out the bottom of the dishwasher. Time to replace with a different brand.

Silent and efficient!

The dishwasher is silent, spacious, and efficient. It also looks great and the build is good.

Expected dishwasher to last longer

Purchased the dishwasher in July 2022. In January 2026, dishwasher stopped working. Replaced the main control board. Turned dishwasher on and thought all was good. Heard a pop and dishwasher was dead. Wasted money on Cafe dishwasher, wasted money on trying to repair it. My entire Kitchen was Cafe appliances. Terrible efficiency and poor design

It runs for 4 hours and still does not get dishes dry. Terrible rack design, would never buy another one.

Not The Best

This is the second Cafe dishwasher we have owned and the second one I feel the quality is still not up to par. We were hoping the for better results from this one. The interior racks are poor quality. The Custom Fit Top Rack with Ultra Wash broke with in a few months despite NEVER using it. It would constantly need to be fully pushed in to close the door. Lower wash arm hits silverware basket

Upper dish rack can not be used in its lowest position because wash arm hits silverware basket handle. This is a known issue but I don’t see that Cafe has addressed this & provided a solution / silverware basket with layer handle that fits properly or other correction.

Beautiful inside and out, loads of speeds and very quiet!!!

Worth the upgrade

Beautiful design and so many convenient places to put pans and dishes that might not fit well in standard dishwashers.

awesome dishwasher

Awesome dishwasher. It’s so quiet I had to go up to it and make sure it was actually running! Love the capacity and the features. I highly recommend this unit. And it matches my fridge, so double bonus!

Has potential but not the best

I love the look & it has great potential but it hasn’t been the best since we got it. Isn’t everything supposed to be dry when it’s done? Everything is soaking wet, we have to dry everything with a towel. Since all that water is sitting there, it has now created mold & doesn’t clean well anymoreDaisy, a bunch of black dots appear all over our dishes. Self cleaning doesn’t do much. We’ve read the manual, tried different things, nothing helped.

Beautiful design, plenty of interior space, and near silent. We can watch TV and not notice it running. Excellent cleaning and drying.

Great dishwasher for the price

Very quiet, cleans well, and holds a large amount of dishes. I have only used this 3 times but it dries effectively. I have not used all the cycles yet but there are a variety for each cleaning need.
