Ratings & Reviews for Cafe 24-in Top Control Double Drawer Dishwasher ( Stainless Steel with Brushed Stainless Handles ) 46-Decibel Very Quiet Sound Level

Too early to tell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My previous two-drawer dishwasher was easier to load. Also, I wish there was an exterior indicator to reflect the washing cycle was complete. Haven't been able to try out all the features.

Not good

Crapola. It’s 1.5 years old and we are looking for a new one. It runs and runs and won’t turn off. The drawers are locked shut. We have to shut it off by flipping the switch on the breaker.

Lowes is not a company I want to work with.

We FINALLY got our shipment and it took many tries to get it installed. I will never buy an appliance at Lowes again. Working with them and the installer ( there is a huge disconnect) I never want to go thru this again. 100% wouod not recommend.

Great purchase!

Loading takes a little getting used to but I love this dishwasher! Very quiet, dries much better than others I’ve had. With just two of us I usually run the upper drawer with the lower drawer for larger items. Cuts loading and unloading time in half since you just open a drawer rather than opening a door and sliding out a rack. Added bonus is I now have room to get between the dishwasher drawer and the island without worrying about tripping.

I really like it, but there are cons!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] APros: very quiet operation, nice exterior design with nice handles to hang a clean dishcloth. two different size drawers Don’t have to bend to load or unload top drawer. Cons: lack of cycle indicators, I can’t tell where it is in the cycle or if it’s finished. Small copper piece on the handle doesn’t go with my all white and stainless steel kitchen. No adjustable dish slots like the Fisher and Patel models so none of my small or large bowl...

Quiet dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems to be very quiet. We were looking for quiet and good looking, and thats what we got!

Looks Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] nice design and super quiet. Havent connected to the app yet but the App features look good as well.

A different dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful dishwasher. It doesn’t hold large capacity loads but it does a good job cleaning dishes.

Love the unusual!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Previously had another brand double drawer dishwasher for 16 years. Served me well. Inspired me to purchase another one. Love the quietness and look of the GE brand.

2 doors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The wife has been wanting a new double door dishwasher do we decided it was time. I was surprised how nice this unit really was. We both love it. Nice and quite except for when it drains. A little noise then. To be able to run one or both the units was great. Plus it looks good and was easy to install. Would recommend this dish.washer.

Attractive style!

Quiet cycles, attractive look. I don’t think it would be ideal for a family, capacity for a couple or two people works. I do feel like I’m running it more than I did my traditional style dishwasher. I wish the dry cycle was better.

Quiet as a Mouse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quiet as a mouse. This is our second two-drawer dishwasher. The first one lasted twenty years (quite an accomplishment in today’s standards and we never had a repair call). Love the ease of not having to bend to put the dishes and silverware in, it just makes the whole process easier to manage. The quietness is a welcome surprise since the first model did have some noise to contend with.

Great for small family

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a single or small family, this is a perfect solution. Having 2 drawers is very convenient.for loading a second set of dishes if one drawer Is washing, or has not been emptied. Regular dishpods do not fit. You have to use liquid.

I want to love them

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After one year, both drawers no longer work. There were also issues at installation that were never fully resolved.

Two drawer washer does not dispense water from the

I recently purchased the two drawer Cafe dishwasher along with the microwave and oven. The dishwasher has been very disappointing. The appliance does not drain well but the most frustrating part is the lack of a top down water dispensing mechanism. It leaves the dishes partially dirty. I cannot fathom how this machine made it off the assembly line. Don’t buy it, you will regret it as others do clearly have.

If you like drawers

Great quality. Necessary hoses and cords were included contrary to what one web page claimed. Well packaged and was flawless when unwrapped. Works well. Very quiet. One thing I would like to see a light to indicate cycle is finished (clean) and one to indicate cycle is in progress.

Engineering disaster

Bought the upper end series and received on 5/22/24 the unit would periodically not wash or complete a cycle between the drawers. On 6/2/2025 both independent drawers stopped working, just receive audible sounds. Keep in mind this dishwasher is basically two independent units. How is it possible for both to defect on the same day. Technician came onsite multiple times with replacement parts. The design made it very difficult to repair within the fixed exterior hard shell. After 3 failed atte...

Cleans and looks great!

We chose this dishwasher based on the color and the double-drawer feature. It fits nicely and snugly in our newly remodeled kitchen. We didn't have a whole lot of space for a bigger dishwasher, so this one fit just perfectly. My only thing with it is that you can't fit in a whole lot of dishes in either drawer at one time, since the dimensions are smaller than a normal-sized dishwasher. So it can get a little tricky at times when loading. However, so far the dishwasher works great, and usually d...

Cafe series does not disappoint

Was sad to leave behind my dishwasher. It was also cafe with the upgraded copper handles. Loved it!!! But sold the house. When they told me about the double drawer dishwasher I couldn’t WAIT to put it into the new house! GE Cafe appliances have out worked any other appliance I’ve owned! So easy to use, perform beautifully and their appearance is breathtaking! Just starting to use the double drawer washer and I’m sure it will stand up to the test of time!
