Not so happy

Very very disappointed. I wanted to love this espresso machine so much. My entire kitchen consist of Café appliances. I got this as my top wedding gift and from the moment I got it until now it hasn’t stayed reliable. The machine leaks water from the bottle constantly, even though the catch tray isn’t full. I’ve had to repurchase the hopper piece twice since it broke and now the grinder just stopped working. I’ve found every way to clean and take care of it but nothing is working.

Leaks from every orifice. Do not buy.

As others have already noted, this machine leaks like a sieve. Water pours out of it from multiple locations. Since café will do nothing to address this faulty machine issue, I purchased a rubber mat. It is full of water every day. Every single day I must mop up all the water that leaks out of it from every orifice. It comes out the back. It comes out the bottom. It comes out the tray. It comes out of screw holes. Amazing machine

This machine is my favorite thing I own now! Makes amazing lattes. So quick and easy to learn. I tell everyone to get it. I use it twice a day i no longer go out for lattes I prefer my own!

Issue after issue

It’s only been 3 days and already having issues with the grinder. I cleared it twice yet the grinder malfunction light keeps going on. The espresso shots that I was able to make were not equal amount of espresso. Some were just a few drops for a double. I prefer the cheaper Nespresso machine that I had than this one

Not too shabby

It’s been great and very easy to use. The app is wonderful to help dial it in. However, water will leak from the bottom occasionally. I can’t figure out why. The metal tray Has scratched easily with placing mugs on it. Cleaning is easy.

Bad espresso maker

Strayed out food and in less than two plinths will not grind or brew without glitching. Disappointed.

Good when it has no issues.

The machine was having issues of water coming from the button and the coffee grinder gets stuck all the time. The machine was replaced and I’m still having the same issue with the water dripping from the button and the grinder getting stuck.

Great machine

I've had a smaller machine for several years and this was a big upgrade. Love the smart functionality to set my grind time, temp and oz!. The shots are even and taste great when using a good quality bean. The grinder is working just fine right now. I've had the unit for little over a month. I was skeptical but so far so good.

Cafe Bellissimo

I purchased this item in December, 2024. While still under warranty, I had to exchange the item because the grinder stopped working. In March, 2026 I had to file a claim with the extended warranty that I paid for due to the the espresso machine stopped functioning suddenly during normal use. Terrible Machine

When it works its fine. It doesnt heat up hot enough, and don't say use the cup warmer, cause that doesnt even got hot enough to use as a hand warmer. It is loud! Like obnoxiously loud. And it breaks. So flipping easily. Wasn't home one day and suddenly got notifications in the app that my hopper needed to replace. Not just one notification, but >100. No one else uses it but me, so when I get home I take it apart, clean everything, reassemble and it continues to intermittently work but still occ...

Disappointed

I bought my espresso machine in October 2025, 5 months later the grinder light won't turn off. I have kept up the maintenance on the machine and cleaned the grinder three times. I am so disappointed as I spent a lot of time selecting it and other cafe appliance items. I want the machine replaced at this point.

Poor Product Quality

This is only a couple of months old and already leaking from the group head. I am disappointed that it can't be repaired.

nightmare

i Had issues with this machine since purchase. Now it has stopped working period. I have all my appliances Cafe and it has been a nightmare with every one of them. Do not buy. as beautiful as they are the parts are cheap and break just by looking at it.

Disappointment

I don’t typically leave reviews. But I am highly disappointed. I received this as a birthday present last year and have had nothing but problems with it. Can’t connect to WiFi. Leaking water. Inconsistency grinding of beans. The kicker is the last clean cycle I have performed it is stuck on clean. After reading in this and watching videos. Bad:(

It was working so good and it’s been 11 months now but now it stopped working and doesn’t do full shot it only does a half shot and starts flashing lights

2nd unit working ok. 1st unit failed after 2 month

The second unit is working. The first unit stopped functioning properly after less than 2 months of use. GE did the right thing and honored the 1 year warranty and sent a new unit after some back and forth and requiring arduous steps for a replacement.

Not bad at all!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Is this is best espresso machine on the planet? No. But it is a great option for folks who want great espresso on a budget. It can be a little glitchy at times, but 98% of the time it brews perfect espresso. It's simple enough to clean. The water tank has great capacity! Very unsatisfied for cost!

Nothing but trouble from the start. And suggested fixes did not help. Cleaned numerous times and still spits grinds everywhere. Wish I would have read reviews before I purchased. If I did I would have purchased a different brand completely.
