Not recommended

t only lasted about two years. It started getting stuck halfway through the grind cycle, and after a few more uses, it began smoking.

My best friend

I’ve had this machine for 4 years already and it is absolutely my best friend. Very minor glitches that have revolved fast so I can’t relate with some of the bad comments. As long as you clean it when the notification comes in and you don’t use greasy beans, it works perfect. I use it with BJ’s Wesley brand Colombian coffee and each cup is delicious. Never worked

Had to return for it would not connect properly with the app. Spent several hours trying to get it to work property. App kept directing me to call the 800 number for assistance. Not the quality at all of what I expected from Cafe Appliances.

Every thing else works great.

After making a double Americano it not hot very long. The temperature is about 150 degrees. Need to get it hotter.

Water leaking in the waste tray

I’ve have had this machine for 2 yrs, then all of a sudden water and grinds started filling up the waste tray and onto my counter. What a waste, called for service and was told unless I had an extended warranty there was nothing they could do. This is junk.

All around great

From the rinsing to the letting me know when it needs water and empty the tray, just perfect. Plus, the narrow fitting is not obtrusive in kitchen. I just love it. Clean cup of espresso each time!

Positive- cofe grinder is good, the end product is good. Negative - small water container, app does not provide the notification beforehand that water in the tank has to be fill up. The cup size max is only 5.5 mg

Makes a great Latte

So far I really like this machine. It turns out a great espresso with out a complicated procedure. It also looks great on my counter.

Great little automated espresso maker

This espresso machine is great for beginners. You don't have to do much as most of it is automated other than the milk frother. The cleaning part gets a bit much at times as the grinder spills coffee grinds all over the compartment, so I normally do a deep clean every couple of weeks. The only negative for me at least is that by the time I am done with everything, its barely warm so I usually froth the milk twice to get it warm enough and its not fun holding the steel pitcher for that long and I...

Convenient but needs work

Four stars for the convenience and ease of use for a functionally blind elderly mom to be free to have fresh hot espresso whenever she wants it. One star off for design flaws. The overflow bin for the grinds is poorly designed and fails to catch the grinds and it's a mess to keep clean. A pull out tray would be a smarter idea tbh. This needs a re-design. The drain overflow has uncessary nooks and crannies that accumulate coffee oils that are difficult to clean out. Why so many molded crevic...

Blinking lights

All is great except the power light constantly blinks and we do not know how to make it stop.

Perfect in every way except one

I love everything about this espresso machine except one thing. It’s beautiful, makes delicious coffee, easy to use, has good personalization options. But, I’m on my third machine in 2 years. The first one had an issue right after the warranty expired. I liked it so much I got another, but this time I got an extended warranty. Unfortunately, it had an issue throwing dry grinds Into the tray. GE sent me a new machine because I was within my warranty. I hope the third time is the charm!

The Rose Gold peels......

The rose gold has almost completely peeled off from the drip tray.

Nice addition

Very nice consistent quality of coffee. I drink a Dbl Americano and my wife makes Dbl Cappuccino. I did set it up to wifi but Im not sure what it does so anyway… We both worked in Food Service our 40+ years of our careers and have had great coffee experiences both here and abroad. This was a gift for her retirement and it is a great addition to our kitchen/dining arsenal. Our old brewer is collecting dust. All in all a well designed, user friendly appliance

Fails after 1.5 yrs

Fails after 1.5 years. After that it can make cold water hot. Reviews all over Internet reports the same thing.

Perfect espresso, every time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine brews a delightful espresso. The Americano and espresso outputs are customizable through the app which make sit a breeze to use. The frother has worked flawlessly. The only downside is the hopper capacity and capacity for the waste bin. They both require regular attendance so placement under the shelving makes it difficult to refill the water reservoir and bean hopper.
