Boxes are heavy but the flooring is beautiful

Just purchased for my home

Highly recommend

Awesome product, very nice looking and durable. A few of the pieces had the tongue broken in places but since its glued down it didn't impact install much. I used it to inlay into carpet to keep my pool table from settling ultimately becoming an uneven playing surface.

Not much color variety in the flooring

A lot of white boards not many colored out of the 24 boxes we received. The longer boards were warped and the edges on some were unused able. Some board had burn marks where the plainer got stuck. The price was reasonable

Beware of display colors not what I was buying

Not happy at all. Not what is displayed at Lowe’s totality different flooring color I’m going to loose further work from my client. I went and talked to Lowe’s no help whatsoever. Very very upset

Splatter-stained planks throughout

After 2 years of staggering the hardwood installation in our home using country hickory natural we purchased the final 26 boxes from Lowe’s for our living room. We had been noticing each subsequent order had an increasing number of planks that had a ‘splattered’ staining appearance but this order has so many we have complied 2 whole boxes of planks so badly splattered we cannot see them fit to use in our home. Garbage Defective Bruce Hardwood! Do not buy!

This product is garbage! At least 25-30% sometimes 50% Of each box is damaged defective in many ways. It’s shocking. Shocking that Bruce Flooring would sell this quality of product basically trash. We had to re-order five boxes in order to find enough boards that were satisfactory, and only satisfactory not excellent. Terrible customer service as a result of the Lowe’s policy. Pretty! Not the best QC.

Not the easiest to install. A good number of boards had curves to them that had to be worked out manually - not something I'd expect from expensive hardwood flooring. One long board's tongue was completely cut in half by a machine.

So many bad boards!!!!

This is some of the worst flooring I have ever bought!! There is zero quality control with this stuff. So many gray pieces, worm holes, cracked boards, short boards, chipped finish, poly over black ink.....It goes on & on. I overordered to make sure I had enough, but there were so many bad boards I could not put down, I had to buy another box. I was able to use about 35% of the new box. There’s only about 15 square feet in a box, so plan on 20% more.

Poor quality control.

The product was unique but with many imperfections. Chips, gouges, rough spots etc. 15-20% of the product was damaged or poor quality. I have gotten splinters from walking in it. Would not recommend. Very disappointed.

quality control issues

purchase 22 boxes for 2 rooms. bruce has terrible quality control issues. following is what we experienced. tongues missing on many pieces, grooves not cut or too shallow on many, chips on many corners, wrong width on several pieces, planner gouges on many boards, broken pieces. upon emailing bruce they said to go back to retailer for inspection. I will not be doing that. we returned 8 boxes for the second room and will be either using a different brand or will ceramic tile. the room we put the ...
