What Customers Are Saying
Customers are deeply divided. Many praise the beautiful finish, rich color, and elegant appearance once installed, calling it stunning and worth the effort. However, a substantial portion report severe manufacturing defects including warped, bowed, and crooked boards, missing or damaged tongues, uneven grooves, cracks, and wormholes—with some experiencing 10-20% defective rates. Installation becomes labor-intensive due to sorting and returning unusable pieces. Some note inconsistent board lengths creating a choppy appearance. Despite quality control frustrations, those who successfully install it find the final result exceeds expectations.

Would RecommendAppearance and consistency was exceptional. Not a single damaged piece in 19 cartons. Great variety of grain and coloration. Very pleased with how the installation went. Angle nail air tool using 1.5" cleats is a must. Used synthetic roof underlayment as moisture barrier.

It’s absolutely beautiful!
Horrible Experience
Would Not RecommendHorrible process in having people who know nothing about installing hardwood floors, come measure for the install products. Bought all the install products and had to battle to get it “proven” to the 3rd party installers that we had all the proper installation products and they were in our home being “acclimated” to the appropriate temperature. Then when the installer finally did come to install the hardwood floor, we were told it wasn’t possible because the floor wasn’t flat enough. One month ...

Ordered 58 boxes and only received partial order
Would Not RecommendLowes and Bruce messed up my order and overall installation plan. I Ordered 58 boxes and only received partial order after 10 days. They messed up order for 10 boxes and now are taking another 10 days to deliver. This is just ridiculous and both Lowes and Bruce owe me an apology and should throw in couple of boxes free

Good Quality Hardwood Flooring
Would RecommendGood quality hardwood flooring. Boxes contained desirable variations in color and grain. Limited scrap pieces. The color matched our existing floors well.

Order an extra box
Product is a good grade of wood. We have purchased the bruce hardwood floors in the past. However there were some pieces of wood that was damaged but we still had enough to finish our room.
