Great grill but QC issues on preassembled

I received this grill yesterday and decided to assemble it myself since I’ve had issues with store assembly. I was almost finished when I discovered one side of the cast fire box was seriously cracked. The fire box is a pre-assembled piece. Apparently the side piece was misaligned during assembly and the screws were tightened anyway. Rather than sending it back to Lowe’s (since it was already 90 percent assembled) I called the supplier. They are sending me a replacement piece which will be easy ...

Great grills

We had a baron 440 for over about 10 years. the only issue was after all the years of almost daily use, the tray that holds the igniters rusted away we had too lite with lighter. we went to get another one last Nov, but it was changed to the crown 440. still a great grill. The side burner had just gone bad, has no blue flame so, it gets black soot on pans.

Uneven heat and poor cintrol

Dissapointing the left hand side of the grill is a lot hotter than the right side. On minimum setting it is still too hot, even on the cooler side and trying to slow cook ribs is impossible without cremating them

Great Value

I bought this recently (NG type) and the install took maybe 2.5hrs. Once setup it works amazing and has very nice features at a more compact size for my apartment balcony. I believe the value and quality is very good for the price tag.

A quality made grill.

I was replacing a 10 year old Webber grill and saw the broil king Crown 440 on store display and decided to try it. I have had this for about a year and I think its a great grill. Very good design and great build quality. I have fired this grill up in the middle of winter in 5 degrees and it in about ten minutes it was ready to go and heated up. It is a BBQ

It is a good BBQ for the average user. I have not used a BBQ that ever gets as hot as I would like it too and this is no different. You have to pre-heat it for about 15min before you get a decent sear. The only way to go is to get a searing station....wish I did. Everything works as expected, just be aware if you are trying to slow cook something on low, any wind will blow out the flames. The double sided grills are probably the feature I like best.

A nice practical bbq outdoor grill

We bought the Crown 310 over a year ago. It is the natural gas connected version from Broil King. Both my wife and I are retired and so most of my grilling is for just the 2 of us and the size of the bbq is about right.
