Ratings & Reviews for Broan 42 inch Convertible 350-CFM StainlessSteel Under Cabinet Range Hood

Broan Replacement - GLA1 423WW

Alleged exact replacement for the QP342WW which had failed and parts not available and also discontinued. The shape of the new one has sharp corners - not curved or as rounded corners. Has rocker switches that are not on the front or top which means they cannot be seen from the front without bending over. No light adjustment or timers. Two speed fan and no high heat automatic fan. The inside electrical connections did have long wires and the fan low speed is very quiet and likely to be left on w...

Stove vent

Bought this to be installed. Installers were first rate! They knew what they were doing! Unit is perfect. Minimum noise. Excellent lighting. Should have done this sooner. Airflow is excellent. Removal of old equipment done perfectly. Thank you!

recirculated option does nothing

not the best. Looks good. there are 2 options vented out or recirculated air. If you don't vent out it is worthless.

There is no night light on this exhaust fan.

Great product. Easy to install and works perfect on our space. I wish there was a night light. But the lighting is good for cooking.

Perfect fit

sleek

Best of the best

I don't think Broan has ever made a bad product. I also got their bathroom vent/light/heater.

Great Styling For A Cook's Kitchen

Great improvement in color & style over previous range hood. Luv the up dated styling. Bottom of cabinet isn't flush so couldn't use easy brackets. Two person install was easy & quick, though. Airflow is strong which explains an expected loud noise level, in high position. Fits great below cabinet. Nice profile. Will be using unducted & want to add charcoal filters for the occasional sautéing & broiler use. The LED lights are bright & make my stove top shine nicely - like showroom quality. L...

Nice features, hard to install

This was not a one-person installation project. I am an experienced DIY and had trouble holding and mounting the fan even with the EZ brackets. The good news is that I replaced a 20+ year old Nutone that needed to be retired. What an amazing step up the GLA1 is. Quiet fan, bright lights, nice design. Like another reviewer mentioned, I wish this model had a night light mode.

Absolutely Worth It – Powerful, Quiet, and Sleek!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ✨️ Broan-NuTone 30-Inch Under Cabinet Range Hood ✨️ I recently installed the Broan-NuTone 30-Inch Under Cabinet Range Hood in my kitchen, and I couldn't be more impressed. From the start, installation was straightforward, and the design fits perfectly under my cabinet with a clean, modern look. (Had to hire someone to install it for me) The 350 Max Blower CFM makes a noticeable difference—it easily clears out smoke, steam, and cooking odors...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Broan-NuTone 30-Inch Under Cabinet Range Hood This range hood has a sleek, modern look that fits right in with most kitchens, especially in the black finish. With a powerful 350 Max Blower CFM, it seems more than capable of handling smoke and odors efficiently. It’s ENERGY STAR certified, which is a great plus for energy savings. The design appears to focus on quiet operation, which is ideal for open-concept spaces or anyone who prefers a peac...

Simple and clean design with great power.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Exhaust fan light weight and sleek. The light and fan switch are on the bottom making the top easy to keep clean. After installing noticed the fan was very quiet and had good pull.

Wonderful product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a great product. We've been needing a new one for years since we bought our house. I love the sleek black color, it matches my kitchen great. The noise level is low, installation was super easy, and the airflow is great.

Great quality and awesome LED lights

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great looking vent for you range. Is can be used both with or without external ventilation. It seems sturdy and has a great weight to it. Haven’t had a chance to install yet but I will be soon, love the LED lights and the option to hardwire or plug in for power.

Great hood

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ill start of by saying this product is big lol. This does a great job ventilating the air ans getting rid of food smells. It comes built in with a light. Installation process was easy.

Easy install, easy use, easy to clean (no nightlig

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is pretty great. Our house was built in the 60s and had the original range-hood. Going from that to this has been a lifesaver. The installation is really simple. (My husband did build me the wood piece, we kinda made the look our own but that doesn't change the fact that its easy to install) It's really easy to wipe down and clean, even with the greasiest of foods being cooked (hello bacon). Product expresses that it's quiet. It is...
