Ratings & Reviews for Broan 30 inch Convertible 300-CFM Stainless steel Under Cabinet Range Hood
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
The range hood is well-built, sleek, and quiet, with good airflow and lighting. Many found it easy to install, though some noted the light bulb installation was tricky. However, the lack of included light bulbs and issues with the lights and fan settings were common problems. Improving product quality and including necessary parts could help address these concerns.

Would RecommendReplaced an old oil saturated Broan range hood that I had installed years ago. Item was marked down to under $100 and I paid another $50 for new aluminum exhaust ducting. The brackets provided for a one person installation are very helpful. Light bulbs were not included. Overall a good value.

Range/hood
Would Recommend#1 it was on clearance. #2. It is beautiful! It's not a loud exhaust fan. We vented it to the outside but there is an option to recirculate the air. The lights (sold separately) are bright the way we like them. It's a 2 person install despite it giving one person installation instructions. Easier to install than the instructions read.

Hi Cappy
Thank you for the 5-star review regarding model number BCSD130SS!
light goes off when fan comes on
Nice looking Hood that updates our kitchen. Installation was simple for two people. If you turn on the lights first, they go off when you turn on the fan. Then you have to turn off switch and then turn them back on. AI helper was a joke.

Return
Would Not RecommendI purchased this and found out it was not the quality I was looking for. I tried to return it to the store but was told there is a 48 hour return policy on “Major Appliance” First, When did a Range hood become a Major appliance. I have ceiling fans that cost more than the Range hood. Second, does lowes expect a range hood to be installed within 48 hours. I will be contacting legal to see what recourse is available. I will never shop Lowes Again because of this.
