Ended up wasting my money
Would Not RecommendI bought this wall plate because I wanted to stain the wood to match other trim. Once it was stained it was obvious that this plate was not made of one solid wood piece, but was pieced together. It suddenly made the plate look very cheap. The reason I gave it two stars is that it is sturdy due to its metal backing. If your plan is to paint this plate, that would work, but I don't recommend it for staining and/or varnishing.

4 channel light switch
Would RecommendWorked well to cover the space that was slightly bigger than a standard cover. I could also finish it with my custom stain.

Log Home
Would RecommendThese look great in our log home. We recently had a house fire & I was afraid I would not be able to replace these as we built our home 40 years ago

light switch cover
Would RecommendItem was just what I needed to go with my woodwork highly recommended to anyone.
Perfect for our cabin
Would RecommendThese covers are perfect in our cabin. I love the metal backing to strengthen them. I plan to take them back down to stain later. They are a little pricier than I was expecting.

Just the room needed
Would RecommendThe den was recently painted and the plastic switch cover just did not provide a finishing touch. Purchased the oak switch plate and it was just what the room needed, a suttle design element.
