Ended up wasting my money

I bought this wall plate because I wanted to stain the wood to match other trim. Once it was stained it was obvious that this plate was not made of one solid wood piece, but was pieced together. It suddenly made the plate look very cheap. The reason I gave it two stars is that it is sturdy due to its metal backing. If your plan is to paint this plate, that would work, but I don't recommend it for staining and/or varnishing.

4 channel light switch

Worked well to cover the space that was slightly bigger than a standard cover. I could also finish it with my custom stain.

These look great in our log home. We recently had a house fire & I was afraid I would not be able to replace these as we built our home 40 years ago

Perfect for our cabin

These covers are perfect in our cabin. I love the metal backing to strengthen them. I plan to take them back down to stain later. They are a little pricier than I was expecting.

Just the room needed

The den was recently painted and the plastic switch cover just did not provide a finishing touch. Purchased the oak switch plate and it was just what the room needed, a suttle design element.

Goes well with the trim for our counters,plate rack, and oven rack storage area
