There was a spring of some sort lying in there when I opened up THE TAPED UP PACKAGE AND DIDN'T WORK! WHEN I WENT TO RETURN IT THE RETURN DESK SAID SORRY YOU CANT RETURN THIS ITEM! BUT THE PERSON AT THE SELF CHECKOUT "I EVEN ASKED HIM, I CAN RETURN THIS IF IT DOESN'T WORK, HE SAID OF COURSE YOU CAN" and he even scanned my CHECKOUT! Good bargain stapler
Would RecommendGood stapler. Got this for our small shooting range at home to staple up targets, so didn't want to spend much on it. fires staples rather well even into wood without much effort. If you have hand and wrist issues, maybe get one that is electric, because youll need some grip to get this to work.

Would Not RecommendAfter loading the staples and securing the loading track latch at the back, the latch will disengage under the recoil of the staple gun and shoot the spring loaded track back dumping all of your staples on the ground.
