Would RecommendPurchased the hammer drill as I wanted to remove some tile before the contractor came in to remove an existing tub and replace it with a walk-in shower. Was on the fence about renting or buying as I didn't want to remove all the tile today so would have to rent 2x's. This unit was on sale and worked well. I cleaned up the remaining mortar with a second light pass. The unit is really deserving a 5-star rating but trying to register the warranty with Bosch and their "SingleKey ID" was a wasted...
Beats a cordless drill on impact power
Would RecommendExcellent drill. Burned up a cordless drill and constantly needing to swap batteries that were overheating. Couldn’t be happier with this Bosch Rotary Hammer Drill.

Workhorse of a tool
I just got this hammer drill and it’s a good tool for the price and a workhorse drill. Definitely would recommend it.

"Low-miles" failure, expensive to repair.
Would Not RecommendSuper disappointed, I was under the impression these were the "best". Not my experience - had for about 5 years with occasional usage. Fewer than 100 holes. The armature burned out suddenly when I really needed it, so I was dead in the water. The cost to replace the part is 85% of a reconditioned tool or 125% of a "disposable" version of the tool.

It worked easily and quickly.
Would RecommendI liked that that the vibration was light comparatively, and that it drilled through the concrete quickly. I purchased a dewalt for about half the price and had to return it when it stopped working on the third hole. Comparatively the bosch cost was twice the price, but it's ease of use, low vibration, and quickness made it worth it.

Don't even bother with a hammer drill, get this
Would RecommendAbsolute beast! I was trying to make some holes in a poured concrete foundation using a hammer drill, when so many DIY videos said "that's all you'll need." I am not sure what they are drilling through though, styrofoam?! Not only was it taking 10+ minutes to make a hole using a hammer drill because it would get hung up on rocks inside of the concrete, my whole arm was numb at the end of the day from the crazy vibration. Too much vibration is super-bad for you (look up HAVS). Decided to pick up ...
