Powerful Small Sized Drill
Would RecommendI purchased this drill after using the similar 12V driver for several years. Drill is very powerful for the small size (very comparable to an older 18V drill I have). Because of the small size the drill fits in my tool box (and one of the pouches on my carpenters work belt). For any drill requirements requiring 1/2" or larger I use a corded drill, but for everything else I use this drill) The 12 volt batteries are compatible with the older driver (and have a much longer run time). Based on my e...

Solid drill
Would RecommendI picked this unit up to support same battery based set with a chuck. Unit works as advertised. The addition of 2 newer batteries helps with the rotation for the other 12 volt Bosch drill/drivers I have. Used to drill out snapped bolts in small engine. Handled the drilling like it should.

Electrician's Best Friend
Would RecommendThis is my third PS-31 drill bought out of absolute necessity. First two disappeared from my van. This third replacement is the best one ever. These new lithium batteries are awesome in the cold and extremely long-lasting in holding their charge. This is the only powerful drill which actually fits in my electrician tool belt without falling out. It has the only clutch I know of which allows me to quickly replace cover plate screws without worrying about cracking delicate plates. Setting #1 seems...

Charger went out
Would Not RecommendI bought this in 2013. I just realized in 2015, because of very light usage, the batteries weren't charging on the charger, but when I called in the warranty the charger is only covered for one year and there was nothing Bosch would do to help cover a new charger. A new charger costs $50, so I will probably just buy another drill with the same charger and hope it doesn't go out again.

My "go to" drill
Would RecommendI bought this drill before a big project shelving a 40' shipping container. I have 2 other cordless drills but the ergonomics and light weight this Bosch 12V have made it my favorite. In 2 weeks I have worked the daylights out of this drill and it doesn't skip a beat. The batteries recharge so quick that there is no downtime. I love it!

Big drill power for a small drill
Would RecommendThis drill along with other Bosch tools I own is a great add on. I like the chuck tightening feature, battery level LEDs, how you can turn on the light to see your drill point without the drill running, very compact, and the rapid charge the batteries take.

great feel and power, don't last forever
Would RecommendI have had about 5 of these. I use them often, but not abusive. I have had to exchange 3 of them. Variable speed goes out and gets a bad connection between the battery and drill which is annoying. Overall, the feel and weight, and size keeps me buying more.

Best bang for your buck. All the quality and ease of a big 20v lithium. Only downfall is the battery don't last as long, it comes with a speed charger and extra battery. Battery life is expected with a 12V vs 20V. Love the compact size. Great for house projects.

Great compact size
Would RecommendBought this for driving screws into hardwood cabinet projects. Surprised at the torque, and the compactness lets me get into smaller cabinets and so on. The battery charges quickly and lasts longer then expected. The light helps alot as well. I'm going to go get another one today.
powerful!
Stronger than expected. Been running good for household and auto stuff for a couple years now. The clear lens that covers the led has a crack in it from drilling then punching through. Struck obstacle, my fault though. Great little work horse even used it to drill 1/2in holes with reduced shank bits.

Used at work daily
Would RecommendFeatures difficult to find on other models. Screwdriver tips mainly used. One hand operation forward/reverse, torque limiter, drill settings. Lithium ion battery 2Ah better than lithium ion 1.x Ah-(it's long lasting.) Comfortable in man sized hands-Hitachi has smaller model.

For Household Use, Accept No Substitutes!
Would RecommendI traded up to the PS32 from a (rhymes with Draftsman) 12v drill/driver, which worked just fine, but I just felt the need to trade up (impulse purchase). I wanted a PS31 prior to getting the "Draftsman," but the price of the Bosch at the time was a little too spendy for our budget. Enter the magnificent PS32. It's fair to say that, for household duty, you really don't need anything else. This thing is plenty powerful and compact to tackle most tasks thrown at it (new roof on kids' playset, tigh...

Lightweight, Good for small jobs and tight places
Would RecommendSmall enough to fit in tight places and enough torque for small jobs. Yet the battery has good life. A good companion for my larger dewalt drill and perfect size for my daughter and her apartment. Compact case. I had to return the first of these drills that I bought as the battery would not come out of drill easily. Second drill was fine.
Really easy to use
Would RecommendI love not having that huge battery hanging under my hand like so many other cordless drills. I use this a lot in my garden to build supports and trellises and it is very convenient. Because it is small, it can go places other cordless drills cannot.
