a waste

Bought this because of the price and the manufacturer name. Turns out it is useless - the lock to hold the tool at the desired depth does NOT hold! I just today ruined over $100 of hard wood as a result. Too late to return, but I urge others to spend a little more and get a reliable trim router!

I bought this to permanently reside in a mini router table. I have several other Bosch tools and like them.

Nicest small router!

I own 4 routers but didn't have one to do smaller work. This Bosch router fit the bell nicely. It does everything that I need it to do. When I wear it out I'll buy another one!

Good buy

Price was great but it did not come with any accessories like an edge guide or round base . That would have been nice. Powerful little router though. Versatile easy to use. Smooth start up. Worth the price.

Not good for changing bit depth

This router seems to have a decent motor and the switch is just fine. I bought this to replace a burned out unit that I use primarily in a circle cutting jig. Out of the box the clamp setting does not hold the depth. But if you try to tighten it to a point that it will hold position, you can't move the base up and down. exactly what was needed for some small roundover jobs, hand held and compact for weird angles on small pieces of wood

Check the base for smoothness.

Light and easy to hold. I’m assembling cabinets with a bunch of dados. I needed a trim router long ago. Precision is easy with this router and a simple straight edge. The sub base was not smooth near the screw recesses and left a mark on my first cut. I sanded the plastic base with some 400 grit to clear the issue.

Not the quality I expected from Bosch!

I bought this palm router because I own a full-size router and table made by Bosch. The name has always been considered high-quality. After purchasing it to do juice grooves on my cutting boards, returned home, inserted my Bit and set the depth. Once I started on the juice groove, I noticed that the depth adjustment was getting deeper. Stopped reset the depth tightening it down with great force.
