First, this unit is LOUD. The running fan is definitely loud, not at all what I’d expect from a Bosch. Next, the fan keeps on running at the end of a cooking cycle until you open the door, and there doesn’t seem to be a way to otherwise shut it off. I don’t understand the point of this. Would RecommendFirst off the technician was very efficient as he took away the old Microwave and installed the new on in under 40 minutes. I started using the microwave right away and it was intuitively easy to use. I plan to read the manual and explore my new cooking device

Door switch issues
Would Not RecommendThe door switch trips the circuit breaker. An internet search revealed it’s a common problem. Repair costs are excessive. In addition, it’s difficult to get repair in a reasonable timeframe. The unit is 4 years old. I would not recommend it given the price premium being charged.

Keeps breaking & and the protection plan is a sham
Would Not RecommendIn the last 3 years, I had to fix it twice. Both times there is a sensor on the door which broke. This morning it is again broken. I have not yet diagnosed the issue. Also, the top grill has broken twice. It has plastic connector to the main body and they break for some reason. I had also bought the protection plan. Called them the first time it broke. The guy did not even open the unit, just said that the filter is dirty and they won't fix it. I do not recommend.
