Would RecommendI bought this saw for my boyfriend's birthday and he couldn't be happier. As soon as he unboxed it he had to test the precision of the cut. Immediately a perfectly straight cut even after being shipped and delivered from Illinois. My father in law was the one who suggested getting a Bosch miter saw instead of a Milwaukee. Needless to say very pleased and impressed with this power tool for my woodworking fella.

Would RecommendThe saw is accurate from the factory and is smooth to use. The bevel lever is stiff as the YouTuber's say but once you work with it. It loosens up and is fine. Curbside pickup is good and helps immensely.

Would RecommendI like the capability of the saw and how smooth it glides when cutting. The only negative I have about this saw was that it was not dialed in when I made my first cuts. It took a lot of time getting it setup to make straight cuts at all angles.

Would RecommendThe saw makes accurate cuts - great for furniture-making and other precision work - but has no laser. So you're back to the dark ages (20th century): holding a tape, making a mark with a pencil. Bosch tools are great - we have others - but not sure why a miter saw in this price range wouldn't have a laser. The mechanisms to pivot for miter cuts, release the slide-lock, ... are smooth and consistent. Haven't used it enough to comment on reliability.

Would RecommendThe saw feels very solid and has enough mass that I know it won't move when I extend the blade. I have been waiting for it to go on sale and it finally did. I have only cut a few things with it so far and it cuts great. I know some people have complained about there being no laser guide but honestly just drawing a line with a ruler and bringing the blade to the line isn't that difficult. Overall I like that the hinge system allows me to back the saw up against the wall.
