Ratings & Reviews for Bosch 18-volt Variable Speed Cordless Reciprocating Saw (Battery Not Included)

garbage

I was always a huge fan of Bosch tools. No more though. Hammer drill, impact, circular saw,and recip saw all cordless all worthless for professional use. It seems Bosch has gone downhill. In a world where everyone is going to cordless tools you would think Bosch would have stayed competitive. I guess they didn't get the memo

Strong saw

Strong saw. Made 8 cuts through 4x6s like butter. Didn't even make a dent in the 4ah battery.

Powerhouse battery driven saw

Cut through 1” old marine plywood like butter. Made my life much happier. Loved the quick change blade system. Battery charged quickly. Bought this saw when there was also a BOGO offer so I got the battery and charger for free.

Not a tool to brag about

I don’t personally own this but a contractor I work with does and we constantly have to bust out a corded due to the fact that this thing has no power whatsoever it’s quiet because the speed sucks, it doesn’t do a lot of work, super easy to bog down with little pressure. Blade change is ridiculous to try and work with. Overall it gets 90% of jobs done, just takes forever to cut through most materials, especially wood. The fact it’s mostly worked is why it gets two stars instead of one. Just buy ...

Great purchase. Great power.

Extremely happy with this purchase. Utilizes the batteries that I currently have on hand from my Bosch drill. Like the one handed blade loading ability versus having to hold a lever while inserting a blade. Would love to buy more Bosch cordless tools.

Great Piece of Equipment

Very strong and fast. Very well made. Excellent value

Met my expectation.

The Sawzall had enough power to cut through what I needed to and enough speed to not go sideways. With the proper blades

Simplicity

I have a corded saw, and had a barn to work on with no power. My generator is on the blink, so I purchased this saw. I cut twenty four 2x6 rough cut boards with one battery, so glad my generator was not working . So much easier without all the hassle.

convenient.

for me Bosch has the better longer lasting battery for my use.

Unimpressed

I was thoroughly looking forward to it’s performance. But once it arrived and I used it I was very disappointed. I heard good things but pales in comparison to my Makita recip

Good buy

The weight of this tool is excellent and the ease of use when it comes to changing blades is top of the line!

Died with in 6 months

I bought it 8 months ago and it broke down in the middle of job

Versatile and lightweight

Bought it for light work around the house and it’s worth every penny. Blade is easy to swap and the weight is better than expected

Well made saw

A nice addition to my Bosch family of tools. Have been using Bosch tools for twenty plus years.

Great tool and great price

Love this product and like using it.will recommended this

Simple Strong Saw

Typical Bosch excellent quality. Installing and ejecting blades is simple and the saw has plenty of power with batteries from other Busch tools.

Bosch 18V Reciprocating Saw

I have several 18V Bosch tools and have never been disappointed in their performance or reliability. This saw is heavy duty and will handle any job expectations of a reciprocating saw. I would match it against any other saw on the market and feel comfortable in saying it would meet or exceed their performance.

Bosch cordless recip.

Love it. The blade release is great and the controls are comfortable too. You don't have to press 2 or more buttons to operate this. Just the trigger!
