Good saw if you don't need a rip fence

Potential buyer should be aware there's no rip fence available for this saw. Besides that, I like the saw. It's light, easy to handle. Handles 2X lumber (including pressure treated) easily, also fine with panels and P.T. plywood. As a DIY user have used for 3 years with no issues. Unfortunately, there is NO RIP FENCE AVAILABLE. The part # is 2610347117 and according to the Bosch website and phoning customer service it is discontinued, not available, and there is no alternative. This is a known ...

the tool is somewhat heavy

i like the construction of the tool it feels high quality I also like the ability to add a rafter hook and guide to the saw with the purchase of a accessory kit online

I really like the dust port, connecting a vacuum to it really make the job that much cleaner!

Great Buy

This is a very well made small circular saw. It works exactly as advertised. Very smooth start up and a brake that stops the blade. Cuts accurately and works welll with an edge guide.

Quality-update

I've experienced a few flaws. The blade cutout guide is too wide and confusin. 2nd, the swivel dust port often falls off. 3rd, the shoe barely tightens, it keeps dropping out.

My favorite circular saw!

I really like this saw! I just recently used it on a job and I couldn't ask for more, I had no issues ripping through OSB and 2/6 lumber with a 4.0 battery, recently I picked up a couple 8.0 batteries during a promotion, this battery bumped up the performance a bit and allows for a longer run time.

The store had a promotion with a free battery and I could not pass the opportunity to buy it. It is everything I thought it would be. The blade, being on the left, was a small challenge to get used to, but that's normal when you are used to the blade on the right. One complain I have is that the dust port is on the wrong side as it blows the dust toward the user instead of away from the user.

Nice Saw

This is a nice light-duty, Brushless, Cordless Circular Saw. It is not as powerful as my corded saw, however it is perfect for cutting 2x4's, plywood and other sizes of small wood. I think it is a great deal, especially since it was on sale and it came with the battery and charger. Great Deal!
