Terrible customer service and defective fridge!!

I purchased this fridge after reading reviews and comparing products. I saw some reviews about failed ice makers but it was a small percentage and I thought I was paying for quality. I was very wrong!! It never made ice from day 1. I called Bosch who located an authorized repair tech in the area. Service visit 1 - Tech diagnosed the issue as a failed ice maker. Ordered part Service visit 2 - Arrived with replacement ice maker and ran diags. Everything checked out but they could not stay...

Broken

I’ve had two service calls and still waiting on a repair today 8/25/2026. First service call July 14,2026. Second order no updates on part with doors. Doors don’t close very tightly you can feel air flow coming from doors.

Freezer quit

Got this delivered on 10 July 2026. It is 27 July 2026 as I write this. Freezer has already decided to stop working. 17 days folks. For the price you pay, you expect a lot better craftsmanship than this.

Almost perfect

We waited over 45 days for our Bosch 500 refrigerator to come back into stock and be delivered. After lots of debating and investigating we opted that this would be the best for our needs. We would've gone to the 800 but the refrigerator definitely would not fit due to owning an older home. The refrigerator has been exceptional. The ice is made quick stays cold. June 2026 Bosch 500 refrigerator 30 days new

However, when using crushed ice instead of cubed and we get the water dripping inside problem mentioned many times previously. It's from warm air being introduced thru the external door ice/water dispenser and then those tiny leftover ice particles melt. Bosch French Door Fridge

Refrigerator

Buy this if you don't like sleeping

This refrigerator is great, if you want to continuously be woken up in the middle of the night to pull the ice tray out because it's clicking so loud it wakes you up. Don't worry if you work the night shift, it happens all day as well. With all the reviews mentioning the same thing, it's an obvious problem this unit seems to have.

Looks nice, broke in 2 months

I was tired of having refrigerators fail with food inside. I thought I would purchase the Bosch because of the reputation. Ice works great. Deli tray is too warm. After two months freezer is 25 degrees Fahrenheit and rising. Now it is useless and I have to get it repaired already. I have to transfer food back to a 15 year old ge profile backup. We'll see how warranty goes, then I will update review. You shouldn't have to purchase an extended warranty for something that costs this much. E...
