Another Good Bosch Router Bit

I've used Bosch router bits before so I expected a good result from this bit and that is what I got. First use was to trim OSB from around window and door openings in a house I am helping build. Rough them out with a sawsall then clean up with a bit like this. Makes for a better looking job and provides a uniform square opening for house wrap and eventual window and door installation. Great trimmer

I use this bit to shape the front of pull out drawers for kitchens. I cut the hand access area with a jig saw then use this bit with a homemade template to shape the top of the drawer. Works great and my drawers look like they came from the factory. Great price and great value, thanks.

Trimming bit

Worked fantastic, easy to wok with, had no issues. Although it is good quality and easy to use, I thought it was a little pricey for the weekend warrior. Replaced a counter edge, used the bit for two minutes, then put it in a draw to never see daylight again.

Trimmed 48 year old formica counter top

I've only used this bit once, so take this review for what it is. A couple of years ago I had to cut away some of my counter top and part of a cabinet so I could just squeeze a new refrigerator in place. This was done very roughly with a reciprocating saw while the delivery guys were waiting. That rough cut was pretty ugly. I recently bought a router for other reasons, but it occurred to me that I could trim that counter up with a flush trim bit. Looks much better now. I did have a little chip...

Great bit

Once I learned what direction to cut with my router, the bit is excellent. Super sharp.

it does what it says it will...

Solidly built. This chunky bit replaced a similar bit from a value value manufacturer. The difference was immediately noticible. My router vibrated significantly less than withthe old bit. The next apparent change was that the cut quality was superior to the old bit cleaning up the left overs from it and leaving a nearly smooth finish on the hard board I was working on.

Works great!

This was my first individual router bit purchase, so I don't have another for comparison. However I can say I've used this bit already to trim laminate flush to the edge of a router table I'm building. It worked great and yielded a perfect result. I'm very satisfied.

Laminate Flush Trimming Bit

I had inadvertently over lapped the roof boards and needed a straight edge to put the roofing on, this bit did the trick. Only draw-back my shirt pockets were full of saw-dust.

Don't waste your money on anything else. If your working with laminate this is the bit you need

Only way to trim flooring

Needed to trim vinyl flooring along a elevated edge ( flooring about 3/16" thick). Bought this and it turned out to do a perfect job. The actual cut took about 20 seconds. Setup of the router and cleanup took 15 minutes. If I cut this by hand the job would look bad and take twice as long. This is the only way to cut if you have an edge to guide or have a pattern.

I had an issue using it

I'm new to working with laminate so this could just be my technique but while routing the top side of the countertop I ended up removing some of the top layer of the side laminate, exposing the white color underneath in a couple of spots. Also the glue built up on the bit and had to be cleaned off every use. Maybe this is also normal.
