Leaks from bottom split line
Would Not RecommendAfter 7 years of use my Bosch 2.5 gallon water heater started leaking from the bottom split line. I ordered an identical model from Lowe’s and installed it. After 5 weeks of use the new unit began leaking from the same location. I verified none of the water line connections were not leaking and it was indeed leaking out the bottom split line. Bosch refused to replace it under the 3 year warranty because it wasn’t installed by a certified plumber. I’m not going to pay a plumber $400 to install a ...

Would RecommendFound there was a missing part, plug for alternate mounting position when the unit was filled and water flowed from the side outlet for the pressure release valve. No lististing of parts in manual and this was first time it wasn't in the box. Had two other purchases.
