Fails to perform its base task.

Bought less than a year ago in advance of some renovations for this year. I used it this spring to install 2" tapcons in concrete brick. After drilling less than thirty holes I could smell the brushes burning and then the drill failed entirely. This is the basic function of this tool. I paid more for the brand that should deliver for this task and am thoroughly unenthused that this tool failed immediately.

Gazebo - Mounted some anchor bolts with ease.

Purchased to mount concrete screws & anchors for a Gazebo installation. Worked great. Now I have to remove a concrete fence post footing that I need to demolish and it is the best tool that I actually own, for the job. Instead of renting something for a quicker finish, I am choosing to use this hammer drill and same some money.

Made 2 holes and then doesn’t work anymore

Don’t buy this drill .. it s garbage ! I bought it for light duty work as using tapcons to hang frames in a brick wall then smelled like burnt , then nothing , the drill is new . I bought Bosch as I know they are the reference in hammer drills but not in this one as it s a disposable drill , more scrap to the wasteland and more money wasted on an unreliable tool ..

Does what I need

My boss had this sitting and collecting dusk when I asked to use. To date I have mixed 30+ buckets of thinset and mortar. Then I used it to drill into concrete brick to anchor a hood. Over the weekend I drilled into porcelain tile to mount sliding door track. It doesn't look new anymore, but still works great. I did lose the chuck key and could use the dimensions to replace.

Garbage

I had bought this drill about a month ago and it has stopped working. I called Bosch to hoping that they would fix or replace it but no resolution. I was asked if I had the receipt, which I didn’t have. They said that they could only go by the manufacturer date (04/2021). I now know why they sit on the shelf so long is that they are nothing but Garbage. In the product description it tells you all about what it’s supposed to be able to do but I would if it worked long enough I may have found this...

Waste of Money

Bought this a few months ago to drill three holes in to concrete for anchor bolts. The handle is plastic and wouldn't tighten down enough to use. The drill itself had a hard time drilling into the concrete. After about an hour of drilling I finally got all three holes drilled. This drill just couldn't handle the job.

Disappointing experience

I bought my 1191VSRK drill three years ago. Used it for a small project in bath renovation only. It was seating on the shelve since. Today I tried to drill a few holes in my basement. When finished the first hole the drill kept running, switch was moving in and out, but no reaction. I had to unplug the drill. When tried to plug it back, heard the sound of short circuit. I checked the circuit of the motor, the continuity is good. No continuity on the switch. Reading other people's reviews I have ...

DO NOT BUY DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS GARBAG

USED THE HAMMER DRILL 5 TIMES IN K=LESS THAN 2 YEARS AND STOPPED WORKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Garbage Drill

Failed after drilling 2 holes in concrete. I rarely used the drill for the first 2 years, but the 3rd time it I had to drill 16 holes into concrete. The drill failed after 2.5 holes. I went to a rental center and finished drilling the other 13.5 holes without an incident. I understand that it is over the 1 year warranty but Bosch does not stand behind their products. Would not recommend purchasing this Hammer drill

frustration

Used this drill for less than 2 hours in total and the switch is kapoot! Very disapointed

Good Buy!

Like the numerous features such as the variable speed and side handle. The discounted price was nice, too.

Worked Once! Now Nothing!

Used it one time. Plugged it in a six months later, pulled trigger, and nothing. Zero Power. I guess the switch bad..I'm mad.

Bosch hammer drill

like that it is a hammer and regular drill also. the 10 ft cord is great also

dont buy

Bosh responded to my review, i do know how to use this tool, it just doesn't work when i press on the trigger. the few times that i used it it was great. not reliable.

Don’t buy

I bought my Bosch 1191vsr a couple years ago for a small project, it was great. Today I was going to drill two holes in concrete and it just stopped working. Not worth the money I spent.

Very disappointed

Bought a couple of years ago when my old hammer drill stopped working. Had problems with the switch right away, but didn't follow up on it due to health issues. Now two years later, I was using it again and the switch started acting up, and finally quit working in the middle of a project. It was great while it worked. Kinda expensive for something that only worked for part of two projects. When I bought Bosch I expected quality, sadly, that is not what I got

Don't Buy - Common Switch Problem

I original used the drill and it worked fine on a porch project. I used it 8 months later and the switch went bad. There are many reviews with the switch going bad . . . Bosch should perhaps have a recall so repairs are done free. I hope to find the receipt so I can get a replacement/repair.
