What Customers Are Saying

Customers overwhelmingly praise this hammer as essential for installing laminate and vinyl flooring, with most highlighting its superior performance in aligning planks without damage. The dead-blow design delivers precise force while reducing shock and noise, making tongue-and-groove joints secure. Reviewers consistently commend the lightweight yet effective design, noting it suits extended use and those with less strength. Many emphasize excellent value and report using it beyond flooring for various home projects. A few mention discomfort with the plastic handle end cap or note the hard plastic head can deform under heavy use, though these concerns represent a small fraction of feedback. Overall, most consider it an indispensable tool for flooring installation.

Use it for more than flooring

Would Recommend

Great little hammer. It’s sold for installing flooring but I’ve used it for much more than flooring. I love this little hammer

Hit The Spot

Would Recommend

This hammer can crush taco shells and celery with one swift blow from my friend Thor. If you're looking to make taco salad, hit that g spot or just crush some celery, this Is the hammer.

We used this hammer to install engineered wood floors along with other tools. It worked well in regards to reducing the shock and damage to the planks.

Functional but poorly made and expensive

Would Not Recommend

This hammer works as advertised. It is a fine "dead blow" type hammer that is designed not to leave mark when you hit something. It is not comfortable in my hand due to the plastic end cap on the handle. It could be a little heavier for certain flooring applications. There are better dead blow hammers out there for a similar price.

Great tool for the right application

Would Recommend

Exactly what I needed to get the laminate tongue and groove flooring down. This hammer isn’t like any other hammer. It taps the flooring with just enough force to lock it in but not bust the flooring. I would recommend using the laminate flooring installation kit along with this hammer(I don’t know why they aren’t sold together) to put down your flooring. Great product!

Very pleased I decided to get this hammer

Would Recommend

Sure, you could use a regular hammer, but this tool is made of durable plastic with shifting weight in the head. You get a little added boost with each hit and far less noise than a steel hammer.
