What Customers Are Saying
The gas can has a problematic spout design that makes it difficult to use. The spout is overly complicated with a spring-loaded mechanism that is hard to operate, often resulting in spills and leaks. The rigid and angled spout is challenging to position properly when pouring, leading to more spills. The lack of a separate air vent restricts the gas flow, causing sputtering and splashing. The heavy weight and single top handle also make the can awkward to hold and pour from. While the can itself is well-made and durable, the flawed spout design renders it essentially unusable for its intended purpose.

Would RecommendThe spout operation makes for a difficult pouring experience.
Poorly designed
Would Not RecommendPoorly designed gas can. Very difficult to use. I returned it.
Great can at great price
Would RecommendWell worth the price A little hard to pour the gas when having to push down the safety plug while pouring but perfect other than that
5 Gallon gas can
Would RecommendJust what I want in a gas can I highly recommend it you will say the same thing
Not good
Would Not RecommendWorst gas can I ever had! Leaked gas all over lawn mover while trying to pour into tank.
Gas can
Would Not RecommendGas can is okay. The non spill spout is flimsy. You have to put the “ non spill spout “ in, hook it on your item, apply some pressure to get gas. Only problem is that the spout gasket pops off and causes a big spill. I bought a regular spout for it.
terrible
Would Not Recommendthese things are junk thanks to federal regulations. I cut off the tab u have to press so the slide will open the nozzle flow. You get a cheezy nozzle cap that will not stay on so go to plumbing and get a 1/2 inch pvc cap that fits perfectly.
We do not recommend altering your can or spout in ANY WAY; doing so will void the 1-year

Felt like an arsonist using this can
I miss old cans. I hardly ever spilled any gas. This has a double-engagement system to "prevent" spillage, but produced the opposite. It is decent for a car I guess that is designed to catch the spout release, but not with a lawnmower. Half my gas was over me, my lawnmower, and my yard. Tried with two people: one pouring, the other engaging the safety features. Nope. Nope. Nope.
Bad Gasket
Would Not RecommendDo not buy the gas can. You cannot return it if the gasket fails. The gasket split after the second fill but since fuel has gone through it, Lowes will not take it back. They our on clearance right now. Bet it is on sale to get rid of this bad product.
Just a gas can
Would RecommendServes the purpose but not a fan of the newer style cans. The spout wants to leak unless it is on just right. I figured this going in though. Was a good price for a 5 gallon can. Will use it to store gas and then transfer it to my "old" style 2.5 gallon can when I need to add it to the mower for less mess.
Easier to use than most.
Would RecommendMost of these safety cans are hard to use. This one is easy to regulate the flow without spilling gasoline everywhere.
Gas can
Would Not RecommendThe new smart flow cans are a pain but it holds gas and fills my mower so it works.

This item was on clearance for about $10 which is about half the price of other tanks of this capacity. For the price it cannot be beat.
