No more SPF

I am a frequent beach/pool goer who has used DCT for 15 or so years to protect my lips from the sun. This summer I kept getting burnt lips and finally noticed you all took out the SPF. Thanks for the memories Blistex hope I don't get lip cancer. What a terrible decision! I'll be moving on to another product.

Put back the SPF

I love this product so much and used it everyday for many years! Best product out there! Great for winter skiing and summers at the beach. I was so disappointed that the SPF was removed! Please bring it back with SPF!

No longer a product with a useful purpose , never buy again

Blistex, quietly removing the SPF, just eliminating it and no real change to packaging? Shame on you, kind of the deceit consumers grow tired of. Never buying again.

No more SPF!

I’ve been using this for several years. I didn’t realize it no longer contained SPF. That would explain my burnt lips. It was my favorite and now need to find something new. The packaging is the same and never noticed the absence of the SPF 20. Very disappointed.

The only thing that fixes chapped lips!

My kids get terrible chapped lips from licking - DCT fixes it overnight.

Blistex DCT lip moisturizer

I have been using this Blistex DCT lip moisturizer for years.. it is THE Best of All !!! I have been using it year round it helps my lips moist and soft.!!! Compared to all other brands or products.. I always come back to Blistex DTC !!!! I am so happy to find them at your website ! Lately the other stores they stopped selling them for some reason! Please keep this wonderful product for years to come.. Thank you !!!!

Blistex doe not CARE about Customers—Put SPF 20 back in the DCT

I wrote to Blistex last year about the removal of SPF 20 from DCT. Never heard a reply. I've switched to another company (works well for sun protection and moisturizer but still not as good as the old DCT with SPF 20). I do not understand why it was removed and why Blistex is not listening to customers who, by the comments below are clearly not happy with the change.

No longer an SPF20!!

I have been using Blistex DCF for 25 years to prevent cold sores. Recently and unknown to me, I discovered that it no longer has SPF 20 and my lips were severely burned while on vacation even though I used it very regularly. I now have multiple cold sores on the bottom of my lips. And it is very upsetting.

You’ve lost a brand Promoter by removing SPF

This product USE to be amazing when it was moisturizing, healing AND provided sun protection (SPF) Removing the sun protection is crazy - no reason to take it out! I’ll be buying ChapStick now! You had a better product, brand loyalty & passionate Promoters … and now - it’s lesser for no reason! BAD business decision - Product and/or Marketing VP’s should be fired! Seriously! (And yes, I have already bought ChapStick w/ SPF in it!)

Why would you remove the spf from this product? It was my main reason for buying.

Just another lip balm after removing SPF

I have used the DCT with spf since the 80’s. It was the best. No other product compared. I put it in my kids stockings every Christmas! Now it’s just another lip balm. Won’t purchase again unless they add the spf protection back.

SPF removed

I've been using this product for 25+ years. I was extremely disappointed when the SPF was removed as it was my go to for sun protection on my lips. I still use this at night as it does moisturize well. Please bring the SPF back to make the my FAVORITE again.

Sunblock no more!

I have been using and recommending Blistex DCT for over 25 years. It is the best moisturizer out there. One thing I especially liked about it was that it was also a sun screen. For some reason, it no longer has sunscreen in it. I’m very disappointed.

Deep Moisturizing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well loved since I received it. Have used almost the whole pot. It is extremely moisturizing and perfect for everyday use. It spreads very easily and is great to throw in any bag. Leaves a nice comfortable layer on your lips without being too heavy.

Heal

No SPF 😡

I have used Blistex DCT sunproof 20 since approximately 1986/1987, seriously. I absolutely loved the spf in it. Only brand that worked for me and my lips were kissable soft, never burnt. I stocked up, thank God. Bought it even when I didn't need it. Until the last two years Blistex has put me on a wild goose chase ordering from different places with the promise of sunproof only to find out....they don't make it anymore!!! Why Blistex!!???? Why????? 😫😫 PLEASE BRING BACK DCT WITH SUNPROOF 20!!! ...

New Formula without SPF

Quite disappointed with the removal of the SPF in this product - its been a go-to for my entire family for years (since I was a child and my aunt recommended it to me due to the SPF). The feel of the product on my lips has changed as well. Think I'll be moving to a brand who can deliver on the SPF factor and quite shocked that Blistex would fiddle with the good formula they had before.
