Terrific product!

It was working well even though we had only had it up for a week, and perhaps it will continue to do so as the weather warms up.

Must use an extension power cord.

The power cord is incredible short; too short to plug in to a receptable and set the bug zapper on its bottom. The zapper is not as strong as I had hoped, but it is OK in a confined area, i.e., garage next to a garbage can.

Worked for 2 days

Light fell apart and had to throw in the trash because of how it dangerously fell apart. Parts were defective and fell apart after the defective light was changed. Product bulb was changed correctly but the cheap plastic broke after twisting it in place and broke off into tiny shards. Don’t waste your money on a dangerous product that breaks. Overall a poorly made product that can be dangerous. Would be nice if it worked as advertised or for more then a few days.

This zapper is small but it works great!

Works great on flies, mosquitoes & moths on our back porch.

Doesn't work

I'm not satisfied with the way this bug zapper it doesn't even zap the bugs in my opinion a bug zapper should zap the bugs not let them fly in and back out

I bought two

Well I bought two one for outside deck as well as one for inside my apartment. Well it’s got a moth and when a single wasp got inside it finally flew into the light when I turned off ALL the other lights. IT CAME BACK OUT AFTER MORE THAN A WHOLE MINUTE OR TWO AND FLEW AROUND SOME MORE…I’m allergic so I hope it gets it before I go to sleep. Scared — thank you for such an incredible product. Ugh! Maybe my CAT will kill it since the bug zapper didn’t ZAP!!

Swat no more.

I've been looking for one of these at a reasonable price for a long time. This is a great quality zapper . I have mine in the garage and this allows my family and I to enjoy our space wirhout flying intruders.

Great little device

Bought this as we have a lot of mosquitoes this year, and we live right by the shore. We used this during our last bbq and put it on the deck 10ft from us. We heard a lot of zapping but had hardly any mosquitoes near us. We used a warm light on our table and they seemed to be attracted to the cold glow

Perfect for bug zapping

This little device is ideal for small spaces. It glows softly which is quite nice and not distracting at all. Mosquitoes get attracted to the lights and then get zapped. Not much noise is added to the surroundings when they get zapped.

Easiest thing to use. Does a great job getting the bugs and it doesn't take up much room. Great value for the price.

Poor product performance

This product quit working after 36 hours of operation. Thought maybe the bulb burned out. Replaced the bulb with the included spare/replacement bulb and the unit would not come on after plugging it in. Black+Decker product quality sure isn't what it used to be.

Effective in a small package!

We have terrible knats and mosquitos in our backyard. I wanted to try something that didn't involve lighting torches or candles. I decided to try this electric bug zapper and I am very pleased. Great Zapper!

Amazing zapper! Picked this up for a fruit fly issue! The light draws them in quickly and zaps them into oblivion! Also draws in any rouge flies or mosquitoes that happen to sneak into the house!

great for picnic areas

I have an Eatery with all takeout or outdoor dining, and I have this set up a little distance away from the tables. This works great at keeping flying insects away from the dining area. I have tried quite a few other methods and this one works best for us!
