Would Not RecommendThis bug zapper doesn't work and never has worked. The light comes on but it has never been able to zap a bug, even when they go in there and fly all the way around the inside metal cage. Everything I've ever owned from Black and Decker is complete garbage and it's sad because they used to be a great company 30 years ago.

Would RecommendThis bug zapper works great. It’s so easy to use - simply plug it in and it’s ready to go! Be warned though, the cord is relatively short - I think only 3 feet long so you’ll probably need an extension cord with this if your outlets are not near where you want this machine. Bugs are attracted to the light and zapped. There is a twist-off bottom to easily dump the bugs out. I like that it is safe to use because the lights are inside so you can’t accidentally zap yourself.

Would RecommendThis outdoor bug zapper is great value for the money. We use it on our covered patio while plugged in. It can run on batteries or electricity, with the latter being the most effective way to kill pests. I've only been taking it for about 5 or 6 days, but already I can tell a change. We have no shortage of insects because we are coastal residents of South Alabama. I'll eventually get a second one for my porch.

Would RecommendIt was too much fun for me to watch this bug zapper. I've heard a dramatic reduction in mosquito bites in my backyard, and it produces a really pleasing sound when it kills the bugs. The cord might be longer, though. For a device that has to be outside, the cord is incredibly short.
