Great multi purpose tool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this tool a long time ago, maybe 6 months or more. I needed something a little more compact than a large cordless drill to get into tight spaces. This has been a time and hassle saver! Not only does it fit perfectly into those tight spaces but it also has a flashlight on it to see exactly where to place and remove the screws. Does the job, but ....

Satisfied but I wish there was a place to store/secure the screwdriver bits when not in use. My old B&D screwdriver (15+ years old) had a place to store the bits when not in use.

Best screw driver around

I’m so glad I purchased this screw driver to have around. It makes little jobs so much easier and faster. Within a farm at our home, there is always something that needs to be done or task at hand. This screw driver is light weight, easy to use and store. Works well and even my 10 year old can use it. Two thumbs up!

Finally a light weight battery operated screwdriver with a trigger! My old one had the off/on switch on top along with the operation switch included with the aforementioned off/on. Was very hard to apply pressure and operate at the same time.

A good tool for just removing screws and small jobs

Limited.

This is an easy-to-use tool, but it is very limited. The screwdriver comes with only two accessories, and the manufacturer provides no other attachments for this model. In short, if the attachments are the wrong size, then you need another screwdriver anyway.

Light weight and reliable!

I’ve used it several times in very tight spots where the transitional features were critical to task completion. The strength of the battery helps complete longer jobs with ease and the brightness of the light is excellent.

So-So cordless power screwdriver ?

I've had B & D small tools for 40+ years, always satisfied with performance/price and I needed to replace my last Light to Mid-weight cordless screwdriver that lasted 15 years plus after being unable to buy a battery replacement pack anywhere. This new one seemed similar with the adjustable handle BUT as mentioned in a former review below, there is NO place to put the other screw bit, which from a design standpoint is absolutely "stupid" with no case or spot in handle to place it?! Cordless screwdriver rating

One of the handiest tools in my workshop. Light weight, flexible hinge, and many drivers will adapt to it. The light comes in handy also. The value for the price is excellent.

Worth The Price

I bought this at a clearance price. Well worth the full price. It has lasted for years and is very handy.

Basic Necessity

This drill although limited to two drill bits: a flat and philips. The drill gets the job done both removing and putting screws in. The one speed is nice for small jobs and the price is fair compared to the other high priced drills. I would recommend this to friends and buy another one possibly as well one with more speeds.

Good update to B&D's cordless screwdrivers

Have had previous versions of B&D's cordless screwdrivers. This is a good update to previous models as it uses a Lithium Ion battery which helps with the additional torque as well as battery life versus the older models which used NiCd/NiMH. The LED light is a good addon especially when working in dark spaces.

Perfect tool for everyone and everywhere.

I needed a small electric screwdriver to install some wire shelving in my closet and this was perfect for the job. A few days later I used it to remove some trim in my truck to run wiring. I purchased this Black + Decker 4V MAX* Lithium Ion LightDriver Cordless Screwdriver because it filled all my needs in one product. It's cordless, light weight and incredibly useful. Moving into a home, I wanted to make hanging and DIY projects easy and quick. So happy that it's adjustable and has a light. Great for jobs inside dark and hard to reach areas. Simple to operate. Very good investment... I'm using it even more then I thought I would!
