It worked very well and the battery lasted long enough to get the work done.

This saw has been really convenient and very helpful in completing some difficult cutting during our home renovations. It works quickly and as long as you have a steady hand will leave you with a pretty clean cut!

Very powerful little tool

Very powerful little tool. It will cut thru anything from plywood & plastic to a small tree I was pleasantly surprised. Good job Black & Decker! I love mine

Light Weight

I am a senior citizen and find this reciprocating saw easy to hold and use. I just purchased a 9" wood blade to cut larger plants and it does the job.

Great tool for the price

I bought this for yard work and to remove a fiberglass shower/tub combo. Worked great, battery lasted long enough to complete the job, and easy to use. Have used B&D power tools for 40 years & they always perform well.

Great tool for yard work

I needed to trim LOTS of Palo Verde trees. These are hard wood trees. A chain saw was no match at all. Make sure to buy a landscape blade and a 3 amp hour battery.

Yes!

Put a pruning blade in this bad boy and use it in the yard for limbs, have cut down saplings. Very convenient! I have a 20 V Max chainsaw as well, but this is easy to grab and get smaller stuff done. Very pleased.

Easily Handled the Job I needed it for

Bought in July, works great, cut right through the material I needed it for. The only thing I had a problem with is the Model was actually a BDCR20C which is the model that comes with the Charger and Battery, however that model did not come up in the list when I put the actual model number from the Saw which was BDCR20 it also didn't come up in the drop down list. So I registered under the BDCR20B which is the only option available.

Good saw for the money

We already had two of the batteries for this system of tools and a drill and a portable air compressor. This seems to be a good solid tool. Blade change is easy. Cuts strong. Comfortable to hold.

Ease of Use

I purchased this after doing a lot of research and watching youtube channels. This one caught my attention for it's simplicity of use, lightweight and perfect for the home gardener. I am 65 years old and in good shape I love to garden, but some of my smaller trees and older shrubs are getting to be difficult to cut back with basic gardening tools. I used this for the first time about a week ago, and was amazed at how much I got done. Great time saver. Thanks B&D.

Great product for the price

Been looking to get a reciprocating saw for a while now and recently purchased the 5 1/2" circular saw that uses the 20V battery as well. I have several other B&D power tools I used in the yard and all have worked flawlessly. Have some wood fence work to do and will definitely be using this to cut down the old planks once I'm done. Great tool, very poor factory supplied blade

I have several 20v black and decker tools and love most of them. This is definitely one we love. The bkafe supplied with the tool is of very poor quality. It lasted only a few times. In general we highly recommend this.

Well Balanced

The B&D 20V reciprocating hand saw is a great balance between power and portability. With plenty of power but still not too large or heavy and so portable. The 20v battery, which I had from a previous purchase of a portable week eater, provides lots of power and seems to have good life before needing recharging.

Solid tool for price.

This is definitely a tool designed for occasional, not super heavy duty work. If you need a tool to cut the occasional hole in drywall or wood, this should do just fine. I used it to install a vent for a clothes dryer. No complaints.
