The light came in very handy today when trying to aim the screwdriver bit to the head of the screws I was trying to remove from under a cabinet. The variable speed (depending on how deeply I depressed the trigger) was just what I needed, for making sure I had good contact with the screw head first, and only gradually increasing the speed once it was secured.
