Nice playhouse

Our daughter absolutely loves her new "castle", and cutting up her veggies to play restaurant with the neighbor girls. The only thing we aren't a huge fan of was there was a ding in the door when we received it so some of the stain is missing. And then some pieces didn't line up right. Nothing is going to be perfect being mass produced and it wasn't worth returning over small damage, but it was still unfortunate with the cost of the thing.

Just okay

We bought this with the thought the prefab panels would make the assembly smoother. The boxes arrived undamaged. We were missing 2 brackets, pieces to the little mail box, and a piece of wood trim. Rather than wait on them to ship them to us (leaving an unfinished project in the yard) my husband was able to improvise. There was some cosmetic damage to some pieces that touch up paint took care of. The biggest problem was many pilot holes were missing and not all of the ones that were there matche...

Great but design flaw in the front door?

Adorable playhouse my son is obsessed but the front door has literally broken in half / off when just going to open it.

Aspen Playhouse

We bought and assembled the Aspen Playhouse this week for my granddaughter. I think she will love it. We also purchased a swing set this summer and she has a great time with it. I really wish the Aspen playhouse came with a better mailbox. I know that she loves getting mail, and the included one was very difficult to get together, and seemed very flimsy. Realistic Playhouse

Absolutely worth every penny! Easy to assemble if you stay organized and take it slow. Two 60 yr old women got it done in about 6 hours taking lots of breaks.

Cute home

We got this for a gift. Took me about 8 hours to put together but had no issues with the process. It was well labeled and had good directions. Quality appears good so far.

Disappointed in Quality – Not Worth the Price

We purchased the Aspen Playhouse by Backyard Discovery and unfortunately, it has not lived up to expectations. While it looks charming and has nice curb appeal, that’s about where the positives end. The structure doesn’t feel sturdy, and several pieces—like trim and decorative elements—are constantly falling off or loosening. We purchased this playhouse about 2 months ago, our daughter has been LOVING IT and now gets so creative with her outside playtime. The neighbor kids are very envious and have been enjoying it as well. The details and features are what sold us; the mailbox, the bell, just all the bells and whistles make it an ideal purchase. Definitely recommend this playgouse

The playhouse was super simple to put together with very clear instructions. It is well built and surprisingly leak resistant. We had recent rain and no water seemed to leak through the roof. I was able to put this together myself - it took most of 2 days. I used a drill, measuring tape and screw driver - not much else needed. The only drawbacks for me were that a few of the holes were not pre drilled and had to be measured - specifically for the curtain rod installation. The only other drawb...

The Talk of my Town!

Regardless of your skill level. Don't panic when you open the boxes up and see the parts. It's not as bad as it looks and is very well engineered. My Grandchildren have only seen pictures thus far and every time I send a new picture their reactions are worth a million dollars. Highly Recommend! 😎🇺🇸

Great playhouse!!

I bought this for my grandson and he loves it. The assembly instructions, while a little long, were very well detailed and ALL the hardware was there. We love that it is wood, and the only thing we did was add a silicone sealer to the top of the roof, to make it a bit more water tight.

Aspen playhouse

My grandchildren love it! We placed it outside and had a small Astro turf area for it to sit on. It’s great! Lots of fun

The cutest playhouse for my little guy

I did a playhouse makeover on this cute playhouse and absolutely love how it turned out. My son loves his new man cave and it looks like it will last forever. Love it so much. The instructions were easy to follow and it is such good quality!

Takes a little while to put together. Quality pieces. Hint: Flat piece for mailbox has to be taken to a U shape. Put piece under running warm water and slowing bend piece to the U shape required.

Great addition

Overall a fantastic addition for our little one. It looks great and was fairly easy to assemble alone (I required a second pair of hands for a few key components - took about 6-8 hours). Disappointed that the roof eaves did not fit together flush - took it apart about 5 times trying to get them to fit together but gave up after a while realizing that they simple would never be flush. Super cute playhouse and amazing customer service

This is a lovely playhouse! My 3.5 year old absolutely loves it. Assembly was a breeze, especially since the walls come pre-built and just need to be bracketed together. We decided to paint it prior to assembly in order to get better coverage for sealing the wood and help with the accent colors. The cedar may have some natural resistance to harsh weather, but I definitely recommend applying a clear or colored wood sealer to help with longevity.
