Surprised at the level of quality

I didn't want a sauna, but.... This thing has been amazing! The quality of the kit was top tier and very well thought out. The hardware was nice, the included tools were high quality. They even included a 90 degree attachment to help with certain screws. It gets to 176 degrees in about ten minutes. The touchscreen directions in the manual need to be improved. Great Physical Sauna, Very Poor Tech

The sauna itself is really nice. From the lumber itself to the heater, the physical product is really nice and of great quality. One of the reasons we chose the Paxton specifically was all that was included, however, especially the tech offered such as WiFi capabilities, etc. And I need to be honest that the tech falls massively short. Great purchase

Really impressed with build quality of this sauna and all the parts and accessories it comes with. Easy to follow directions, heats up quickly and gets HOT. Not even going to dock it a star but I can’t get the app to connect so you just have to use control panel on sauna.

Good Look and Good Health At Our Fingertips

We bought this a few months ago and we are enjoying it every day. We go in first thing in the morning for 10 to 15 minutes, then jump in the pool to exercise. We are both 80 years old and our doctor told us a sauna would be so good for our health. And it is. In addition, it is a beautiful addition to our backyard. We are very pleased with our purchase.

Always in the sauna

It was relatively easy to put together. About 9 hours. another 3 hours to wire. I like that the product came with a building apt put together and specialize drill attachment to make the job easier. The only criticism is outside control were difficult to use. No detailed instructions; however, the phone apt controls were easy to use. No need to use the outside controls. Great sauna

We love our sauna! It took about 8 hours for two people to assemble. It fits perfectly under our deck. Two drawbacks- the heater kicks and turns off when it heats up too fast, we have to set it in the 150s then turn it up if we want it higher. It is a safety feature I guess but it is frustrating. The second drawback is that there are a couple of places that are drafty, which could be fixed with some caulk so it really isn’t that big of a deal or we would’ve already fixed it. Purchased couple months ago and due to summer heat have only used it twice but we love it. Look forward to using it in these cold Midwest winters!

Great product

We bought this late spring. I recomend at least two people to put it together. Make sure you have power for the unit. The light that came with it runs off of 110v, so you will need to add an outlet close by if you intend to use it. So far we love using it. It was well worth it at the price.

Evening Sauna Time

My husband and I are so happy with our Backyard 2-4 person sauna. It was a great project to work on together. We are in it every night and so enjoy our sauna time.

Ease of construction

It was very easy to set up. I replaced my old hottub, so we had 220 volt service. It is a great product.

Nice for our family of 3.

we purchased this sauna about 4 months ago and have used it several times a week. The only issue we've had is getting it to connect to the wifi so we can use our phone to turn it on and off which isn't a problem now but will be once the weather is cold and having to go out to turn it on to start warming up.

Looks grewt

Looks really nice when completed. Checked measurements multiple times though still ended with a small gap on top. Roof covers the gap so hopefully not an issue. After tightening straps I am having trouble with the door closing properly. BILT app was excellent for directions took a full two days to finish the project mostly working alone. Still hooking up power.

IKEA and Amazon Could Learn a Lot From Backyard Discovery

IKEA should hire the guys from Backyard Discovery to write their furniture instructions, and Amazon should hire them to teach their warehouses how to pack a box that doesn’t arrive looking like it survived a demolition derby. This was easier to put together than most LEGO sets. I was able to complete everything by myself except for dropping the front and back walls into the base. We love it - Took only a few hours to put together with two people. Everything fit perfectly and the instructions were great and easy to understand! If you've been wanting one.. this is the one to get!

Great sauna!

We've been using this sauna 4-5 time per week for the past 5 weeks. It took 4 people all day to put it together. One of us is an electrician and was able to make sure we had power out to the backyard to support the sauna. I love the way it looks in the backyard. It's great for 4 people or for 2 people to lay down.

I am happy to leave a review for the Paxton Barrel Sauna. It was better than expected. In terms of operation it heats up fast and provides a great experience (used 3 times so far). But beyond that was the setup. The instructions and packaging could not have been better. This sauna is everything I’d hoped it would be. Looks beautiful, heats up quickly and very comfortable inside. Instructions and assembly were straightforward and fairly easy to carry out. So relaxing at the end of the day, it’s helping me sleep better!
