Ratings & Reviews for Backyard Discovery Barrington 12-ft x 12-ft Hardtop Roof Steel Gazebo

Barrington 14x12 Gazebo

Very difficult to put together. Make sure that you inventory all parts before starting. Missing numerous pieces.

One of our best purchases ever!

We purchased our Gazebo about a month ago and it is one of the best purchases we ever made! We love our back deck, but in the afternoon and early evening, the sun beats down on the deck making it almost unusable. We installed the Gazebo on the deck and added roll up/down blinds to the west and north side, a ceiling fan, and lighting. Our only regret is that we didn’t do it 20 years ago. My wife and I installed the deck doing most of the work ourselves. We engaged our son to help lift the 12...

Love it!

We bought this in July and finally finished assembly after a couple weekends, few hours here and there. It is beautiful and very well crafted. I thought about buying it for over a year and finally did, for the quality the price is unbeatable!

Hope the product is better than the shipping

I received a text saying my order would be at my house between 7 and 7, so I was stuck at home the entire day. it never arrived. I got another text that night saying it would arrive between 9:30 and 1 the next day. It got here on time. the delivery truck did not have a ramp and the men manhandled and dropped the heavy boxes onto my driveway. I asked them it they would put them in my garage, 4 feet away from where they stacked them (on uneven ground and concrete) and they said they could not un...

Best Gazebo

Instructions were easy to follow, and the quality is really good, get a lot of compliments from it!

Worth the work!

I love my gazebo! Took some time to sort and organize the pieces. Did some preliminary putting together of smaller parts in the garage. Then it took about 1 1/2 days with 3-4 adults to assemble it. The corner roof pieces were tricky but prying open a side to slide them up helped. It keeps my furniture dry underneath for the most part (unless it’s pouring and windy, then a few cushions may get wet,)

Poolside Gazebo

Stained and sealed it before assembling and it looks great. I would recommend better anchors (Red Devil) than what comes with gazebo. I wish Backyard Discovery offered custom fit sun shades.

Great Company & Quality Gazebo

I just completed the staining and assembly of the Barrington 14x12 gazebo. You won’t find a better company than Backyard Discovery for pre-sales & installation support, quality materials, 5 yr. warranty, and beautiful design. We are extremely pleased!!!

Great product.

I was very pleased with the quality of this product. The wood was very well prepared and the quality of the bolts and hardware were 100%!! I would highly consider this product. The instructions were well detailed via the images, but I think they could have add additional written instructions and tips.

Good structure, challenge to build, fun for family

Dry sturdy construction, not too heavy. Some parts were challenging to build. Instructions were fairly clear, but could have been better. Was a fun project to build with the family.

Good quality

Should have bought one of these years ago, absolutely love it. Good quality construction. I would recommend to anyone.

Lies about shipping

This is not from lowes, its from a completely different vendor and the shipping/arrival date given is completely made up. Supposed to be delivered yesterday. Now this whole other company says it could be 3-5 days more, maybe, they dont really know...

Great quality!

I just had my Backyard Discovery 12x12 Barrington installed and I am thrilled with the product. High quality and well engineered. It looks amazing on our patio!

Very sturdy

It is nice looking and sturdy. The color of the wood is slightly lighter than pictured. There’s also a ton of imperfections on the wood and for how much I spent, it is a bit bothersome. Overall, it’s a high quality product. I really liked the option to pay extra for installation. The guys did a good job setting it up overall, though it did prevent us from noticing the imperfections prior to setting it up.

Quality Product

One of the best purchases we have made to our house! It is perfect for an outdoor patio, very well made and easy directions to follow. It makes our Florida backyard cool in the hot summer! I recommend this for any yard/outdoor area! 10/10 recommend!

Project Complete - Barrington 14x12

We finally completed our summer project and this 14x12 Barrington Gazebo was the perfect addition to our new patio. The instructions along with the Built App provided all the direction needed to complete the project. You can do this with two people, would recommend a 3rd for frame and roof install day. Kit comes with all the hardware and bits you need to build this out. We love the finished product.

Delivery Fail

Lowes does not meet delivery obligations and even sent a survey to ask if I was satisfied with the recent non delivery.

this gazebo is a great value and the people are awesome to deal with.

Great features

Impressed with the quality. Would recommend to anyone.
