Ratings & Reviews for Backyard Discovery Norwood 14-ft x 12-ft Hardtop Roof Steel Gazebo

Well…

It’s been about a month or so I do love my gazebo. The only hard thing we had was trying to get someone to put it up, which we paid money, but had to get it put had to get the money reimbursed because we couldn’t get anybody to do it it was always an excuse. That’s only bad thing. I see that you gotta get someone dependable to put it up. Did these installers leave a lot of parts off yes like some screws and all, but we found them and put up on ourselves otherwise I love it.

Beautiful addition to our backyad

BEAUTIFUL PRODUCT. Everything fit together as it was supposed to. Follow instructions closely and you everything will go smoothly.

Back yard bar-b-que

Assembly required 4 people and took a 5 hours. We had never assembled one before. I'm very pleased with with quality of the gazebo. Some of the instructions can be confusing, careful reading helps I installed my on a concrete slab which made leveling, and squaring much easier. Highly recommend this product. Read instructions over carefully identifying all parts and laying them out first.

great looking, 7 out 10 on assembly difficulty

I purchased a month ago, looks great. It was challenging to assemble, 2 men most of time and 1-2 extras when placing the roof.

We like it.

We set this up on our new deck to shade the deck and the East side of the dining room in the mornings. The only problem that we had was the holes not lining up on the roof to ridge T nuts on the B sections. I just redrilled the holes and bolted it up. We added roller shades to keep out the rain and sun.

14x12 Norwood Gazebo 👍

We could not be happier with our Gazebo. It is beautiful and well built. Plus it has allowed us to use our deck. I would highly recommend spending the money on one of these structure from Back Yard Discovery.

Excellent product

We purchased this and assembled it with minimal difficulty. Looks great and is a wonderful addition to our patio.

Gazebo installed

We bought this about a month ago and are loving it, I paid for the installation, well worth it (three men on two different days, driving from 4 hours away)

Great features

I bought my gazebo about 2 months ago and I love it. The guys from Backyard Discovery did an amazing job putting it together at a very reasonable price. It is very sturdy and the plug and USB outlets are great. I highly recommend this.

Beautiful Gazebo

The Gazebo turned out better than we expected. The installers were amazing and had it up and ready to go in less than 4 hours. We liked them so much we had them come back and do additional work to the Gazebo. We painted the outside to match our house and added cedar sides, a door and screen.

14x12 gazebo

We bought this for our new deck that we had built and love the shade, it provides. I will say it’s pretty labor-intensive, and I had 4 additional guys helping. All in all it took us about 8 or so hours working straight to finish. It’s very structurally sound and actually endured around 80 mile an hour winds a few weeks after we built it. The instructions are fairly easy but we did also utilize the app that makes things a bit clearer during setup. One note, when assembling the roof, make sure you...

Great Outdoors Spot

We love our Backyard gazebo, it is the center of our family and friends get together. We spend all day outside enjoying feeding the birds and squirrels who love the food placed out for them.

Excellent Gazebo

It’s beautiful, very sturdy, and an excellent addition to our backyard. I paid extra to have it assembled and I’m glad I did, two people put it together of two days. We did hire an electrician and added power. It’s a nice gazebo.

Great buy

We love our gazebo. I added lights and electricity and bamboo blinds to block the sunlight. We love sitting out in the early morning drinking our coffee. The install team got it assembled just before my birthday party. Thanks guys.

Gonna Love Pergula

Great instructions and parts supplied. Will need 3 people only during 2 steps, when merging 2 halves together, and when installing 4 roof panels. Love this pergula!

Norwood Gazebo Build

Just completed assembly and it looks great. Definitely needed 4 people at times to assemble the large frame parts and for installing the roof.

Beautiful gazebo but you most likely need 3 people

This is a great looking gazebo and I was surprised that no pieces or hardware was missing. Assembly was straightforward for the most part but you will likely need 3 people or two very strong people. I managed to do all, except the roof by myself but the roof was tricky! That’s where you will need 3 people - one to attach it, two to lift each piece. Most of the pieces were straight and lined up. A couple were bent but they still worked and it looks great after I finished. I got the gutter kits as...

Perfect kit for a car port!

Amazing car port and amazing price!! Beautiful in every aspect. Stained well so it fit in with house! Love it. Wonderful quality!

Love love love!!!!

Purchased the 12 x24 Norwood in July 2026. The shipment arrived on time and was assembled by exceptional installers in 2 days. The finished product exceeds my expectations and has already provided us with many uses besides being a carport. The beautiful wood adds a rustic woodsy look and the compliments haven’t stopped coming. I would definitely buy this product again. Thank you for such adding to our outdoor living space.

Happy

3 contractor experienced men put this together in 8hrs with some difficulty…..had to drill new holes for some of the project. It was good that they had experience. Overall I am pleased with our purchase.
