Ratings & Reviews for Backyard Discovery Sommerville 10-ft W x 14-ft L x 7-ft 10-3/4-in H Barnwood Wood Freestanding Pergola

We Love It!!

I bought this from Sam's club and we were not disappointed. The wood is very uniform, well cut and fit together nicely. All the holes matched and the hardware fit as designed.

Well made

We decided to order a prefab pergola vs a custom built one and could not be happier. We love the finish of this one as it’s not too red, not to dark. Easy to assemble and we have no complaints.

Beautiful pergola

I bought one of these last fall and was so pleased with it that I bought a second one for my extended patio. They are very attractive and help up well with our winter storms.

Easy assembly, seems durable!

Put this together over two days by myself. Construction was easy, and all holes and hardware matched up perfectly. The instructions in the app were clear and easy to follow. Normally when assembling things, I’ll make a mistake or two and have to disassemble and reassemble parts. This wasn’t an issue due to the interactive nature of the app. The existing finish was adequate, and I added another two coats of stain to be sure that it was protected. It’s been up for about 8 months, and it looks just...

Very nice!!!

Very easy to assemble. Great packaging ... we absolutely love it!

Beautiful and sturdy

We purchased this last summer and live windy location. It’s super sturdy and has held up to the wind and sun. We purchased extra boards to make the openings smaller on top and it’s absolutely perfect. We love it!

Patio Fun in the Summer

We had our Pergola installed in August, so we have not had a full season to enjoy it. But, the pergola has enhanced our patio presence that we have had people all over the country who want to join us. So, we're looking forward to the season and getting the most out of outdoor living in Wisconsin.

Exactly what we were looking for!

This is a beautiful pergola and you can’t beat the price. We get many compliments on it and have thoroughly enjoyed it this last year. It completed our patio.

Looks great is our back yard!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this at the end of last Summer and put it together. I have looked out the widow every day, all winter long, looking forward to being able to sit outside and enjoy it! Finally, that time is here. We were able to sit outside yesterday and have dinner in the evening in our pergola. I love the bonus that there is an outlet. We hung some very cute Edison bulb lights that really add to the charm and ambiance! So happy with this purchase!
