Would Recommenda friend of mine who must now use a wheelchair was finding it so difficult to reach her old mailbox - it was off her front porch mounted on a post - i removed the old box & post & attached this new mailbox to her front door at the height of the doorknob - she has no storm door so this works beautifully for her & she's very happy - thanks for the prompt delivery - it is appreciated

Mailbox for the money
Would Not RecommendBlack finish inexpensive mailbox. This mailbox is made with its cost in mind. Space void at rear of mailbox makes it impractical to mount to flat surface. Suggest filling void area be screw positions and surface with some form of spacer before mounting. Bottom of box area flimsy tacked together providing a poor solid base to trust it won't give out after repeated use or heavier objects placed inside (heavy catalog of over zealous carrier that pushes things into box). Pay for what you get and get...
Not what I expected
