Installed today. Someone hit my other one. Make sure you put the two piece post together first. I had some issues trying to get the post together, but I finally did. Other than that there were no issues. Seems sturdy. Would recommend.

Works well for what it's designed.

My brick mailbox was knocked down. This works great for temporary use.

I have the Gibralter brand of this exact same mailbox. They are now called Architectural Mailbox. Got em a new name probably so no one knew the old junk is now the same new junk. Literally close the box and the flap falls down. Your mail will blow all over the neighborhood and if not, still gets rained on. Plan on buying strong magnets or making something to attach to the flimsy door just to hold it closed. And even then no guarantee. And...the pre made holes in the box don't line up to...

Blew Over in the 1st Wind

5 days after installation we had high winds that broke the post and knocked it to the ground. Not very sturdy indeed.
