Would RecommendMagnetic closure relieves “the tug” to open or close it. It is quite good looking, and adds an aesthetic to my street. It is large capacity, with is handy when I collect held mail.

Would RecommendReplacing one damaged by a vehicle incident. This model seems improved as it has a metal door frame now. It is really a nice looking mailbox and is very sturdy. My wife loved the original so I finally found it at a good price at Lowes. It arrived with no damage but upon inspection I noticed that the door had been slighlty misassembled and was scuffing the paint when closing on the box. I called and Lowes is exchangeing it for a different one. I was impressed. It is arriving within 4 days ...

High quality, unique look
Would RecommendGreat quality in this larger steel mailbox. The hinge is smooth and squeek-free. Nice snug lid-to-box closure. Has a unique border trim around the door that makes it look like it could belong to a swanky abode. Our regular/old post won’t adequately support it so we’re now shopping for a thicker post. But I don’t mind. This mailbox is worth the extra effort.
