Ratings & Reviews for Architectural Mailboxes Aspen Locking Metal Small Mailbox Black

Secure and discreet

I knew that I needed to change over to a locking mailbox. I chose this model because the lock is under the flap, not on the front where it's exposed to the elements and might get frozen. I have the safety of a locked box without the appearance of one. So far no issues with wet mail despite fairly consistent snow since I installed it a month ago. It was an easy installation thanks to a helpful screw template and clear instructions.

great size mailbox

It was easy to install this mailbox outside my home. Perfect size and lock works too

Mailing it in!

This architectural mailbox is a perfect fit for our 1947 bungalow. The price is reasonable, and the size, the design, the color are all "just right" for the house, matching the black iron railing of the porch and the black metal of the front porch light. The mailbox was easy to install, requiring only a slight adaptation so that lid did not scrape the siding of the house (placed a shim out of sight behind the box to ever so slightly move it away from the exterior wall so that the lid could move ...

Problem solved!

My dog was eating my mail. I used this mailbox to cover my door mail slot. Easy to install. Looks great. Problem sloved!

Great product

Wanted something small for renters to drop off paperwork or rent. Works great because it’s about half the size of larger mail box.

Narrow, upright style fits well in tight spaces

Had a narrow wall to install on and this style fits perfectly. Also has lock for added security. Very reasonably priced.

Mailbox

It's a standard mailbox that keeps your mail dry. I added a magnet to make sure the top/ cover would stay down on windy days. The lock works well also.

perfect for the job

I needed a product exactly the size and functionality of this so it was a perfect fit.

TOO EASY TO PRY OPEN

Able to install with longer screws & looked good. However, I used this box to collect rent and lost my keys and was able to pry open pretty easily with my hands. Will try a different box that hopefully won't be quite that easy to get into.

Great design!

This mail box was just what we were looking for. Nice size and sllek design.

Great lockable mailbox

We are using this mailbox for contest entry forms and the lockable feature is wonderful.

Excellent Mailbox, highly recommend it!

This mailbox is very sturdy and keeps my mail safe at a good price. Anyone wanting to keep their mail safe should not hesitate in buying this one!

Excellent for my needs

This mailbox is being used in an indoor environment, so weatherproofing is not my primary concern. The box looks great and was a simple install with the use of a drill, a screwdriver, and a level. After reading the reviews that there is no existing key blank that fits this lock, and no way to find them, I was a bit concerned. However, I immediately found that a Y11 key blank matches this key nearly exactly, and after copying the manufacturer key, it worked perfectly. I recommend speaking to ...

Great Mailbox

Plenty of room for large items and it was easy to install!
