Ratings & Reviews for Amana 24.6-cu ft Standard-Depth 36-in Wide Side-by-Side Refrigerator with Ice Maker Stainless Steel )

I hate it! So dissatisfied

The Ice maker isn’t letting all the ice cubes drop, they are constantly getting stuck. I couldn’t figure out for the longest time where the water was constantly leaking from. It has damaged my floor by where the refrigerator is. Resulting in me having the replace the floor. Very upset about that. The freezer is not freezing any of the ice cream I have purchased it’s soft and melted I cannot put no cream in the freezer. Seems like you can only use one size cup to get ice, half the time both water...

Good quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with this refrigerator after having it for about a month. The temperature stays cold and it makes plenty of ice. It is also convenient that there are rollers on the bottom of the unit, so it can be moved fairly easily.

poor ice maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ice maker does not make enough ice. We have had it for about 3 months and it has npt filled the ice bin yet. We were on vacation for 4 days and it was not full when we returned.

Poor water flow and SLOW ICE MAKING.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this slightly over a year ago. The refrigerator cools and freezer works just fine. HOWEVER,, the ice maker and the door water dispenser are THE SLOWEST ON THE PLANET. Takes an entire week to fill with ice even when not taking ANY ICE OIT. And the water flows out the dispenser very slowly. Would not recommend buying. And I have checked the water lines and filter and everything is clear. Not sure why it is this way. Would LOVE IT if it c...

I'd rather sleep with a train in the backyard

Loudest Fridge I've Ever Heard This fridge came with our new home build. As soon as it was delivered, we did a walkthrough of the home and mentioned to the builder how loud it was. They had someone come out and service it and by the time we did our final walkthrough it sounded normal. HOWEVER, a few months later, it cranked back up and sounded like a jet engine. We called whirlpool and they sent someone out to service it and we were told the issue was resolved. It was acting normal for a few mon...

Good brand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this about a month ago because we were familiar with the brand. Works like it should. Does run a lot more then are old one did. Thought we read somewhere that the newer models do for some reason. Also, the position of the light by the water dispenser is useless. Sits way in the back and you can't see how much water you are getting if the room is dark. Other than that, so far so good.

Great

Very nice, but slow ice maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice side by side refrigerator, but the ice maker cannot keep up with just my wife and I. Luckily we have a counter top ice maker to keep up with two people’s daily use.

Wonderful product.

Not the greatest

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have not had the refrigerator long , ice maker is not the best ice freezes together at first the ice maker was purging to much water and causing water over flow which broke the bin.. I replaced it and put another valve in line to slow water intake… seemed to help but cubes still freeze together.. also size matters although large , refrigerator could be a little bigger for my liking all in all it’s much better then what I had… and you get what y...

Appreciate a reputable dealer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Of the first one of this model I purchased it went back to, Thank God my reputable Menards. They arranged to take the first one back after we tried under warranty repair because the ice maker did not work. The water would freeze and block the water delivery tube. At the assurance that Menards had not found this to be a consistent problem, I again got the same model. This one does work just fine.
