Excellent shade

Love this shade. Easy to install (although they could’ve used better directions, but I did call the helpline and they were very helpful and sending me a video plus I use ChatGPT to help. LOVE Allen + Roth cell shades

I use these shades on every window in my house, including light filtering and room darkening. These up/downs are a game changer in my front bedroom windows. Complete privacy with lots of light. Photo at top is shades open 1/2 to middle, which is where I leave them. Bottom photo is one shade pulled down. I also have black out curtains for a.m. sunrise. Well constructed but material was terrible

I liked this and felt it looked good in our space, however after having them for only 1 week the shade material has ripped three times after my husband tried pulling the shades down. Now there are three big puncture holes. COVID masks have better material than this!

Perfect finishing touch

Makes the room. We just painted our dining room and these shades are perfect. They are room filtering with privacy. So easy to install.

Second time damaged

by FedEx. First time no one from Lowes let me know, I had to find out myself why it was sitting at the FedEx dock for days. It'd been damaged and was to be sent back. Had to reorder, item appeared within a couple of days, but the box had been damaged (again), marked with a huge black X and hardware missing. Impossible to Install Securely

I had to hunt down an installation video and even following it step by step, I ended up with blinds that felt like they were a slight breeze away from falling down. I went to use the “top down” feature and they came crashing down, breaking on their way. I was able to get them back on their brackets, but within a few days I wasn’t even able to get the bottom up/down part to function without them coming out of their brackets. Buy some screws

The brackets are hit and miss - 3 of 5 blinds would pull from the brackets and fall to the floor when the blind was pulled down. Put a couple of #8x2" pan head screws through the head rail into the upper window trim and problem solved. Very nice other than that extra bit of work.

Great option

Love the option to open from top or bottom or both. Great to get light in and also provide privacy.
