Ratings & Reviews for allen + roth 44-in to 72-in Oil Rubbed Bronze Fixed or tension Single curve Adjustable Shower Curtain Rod

Poor design

Didn’t expand easily

Great

Very pretty and easy installation

Missing parts

Ordered online for pick up. It was obvious that it had been opened and probably a return it since the screws and allen wrench were missing and some of the packaging was missing. We did keep it but had to go to the hardware store and purchase the missing items. It is now attached and works great for our need.

Excellent product

The way this curtain rod bows out allows the curtain to not get sucked into the shower. Easy to install and good quality product.

Great product!

Installed easily and looks fantastic. The curved bar creates a feeling of more space in the shower

Elegant shower curtain rod

Shower curtain rod matched my other gold accessories perfectly. Simple yet a nice statement. Unfortunately I had to retun due to it not being the correct size but it seems durable and I would have kept otherwise .

Great

Great customer service Vicki was super

Best rod ever!

I use these rods on all my remodels for that little extra shoulder space in the shower.

Hours of your life will be wasted on attempting to install this. Even if you opt for the permanent option, its really just relying on tension. And getting the rod in place with enough tension to secure it will take two strong hands, plus another set to actually screw the fastening components in place. Additionally, the way the components were ordered on the poles was nonsensical (picture against wood floor) so I threaded them back on in a way that actually fits together and smooths the connectio...

No drilling tension!

Love the color and how durable it feels!

Easy to set up

I like that you have the option to mount it or set it up with tension. I've used it both ways but once I figured out the preferred placement, I mounted it to the wall. It looks good and works well

Easy to Install

Easy to Install, great brushed tone

Just what I wanted and needed

Just what I wanted and needed - more space in shower and looks great.

Curved Shower rod

Easy to install and makes such a difference

Bad design

The shower curtain hooks get hung up on the flange connecting the two pieces of the rod when you try to open or close the curtain. Very bad design.

instructions are incorrect, but it worked it ok

Fixed installation instructions are incorrect (you will still need to use the tension collar), and parts were also incorrect (you will need two large allen wrenches and one small, but the kit includes one large and two small). Having gotten past those issues, it seems like it will work just fine.

Poorly made parts

I would have returned this if I hadn’t been so behind in installing it. A set screw stripped with minimal pressure (I’m a 40 year old woman. I am not hulking Allen wrenches). This meant I couldn’t move the tension rod into the correct position 1/16” off my original calculation. Remember - just ONE set screw. I figured, OK, I’ll remove this part because I can’t return it anymore and drill into the shower for install. Drilling out the set screw was an annoyance - none of the other go tos worke...

Unhappy

Did not extend and hold in place. Returned.
