Wall lamp 0181206

I should have read all the bad reviews on this item before purchasing. The screws included are not long enough for the mounting plate, there are not screws for the bracket for the cord cover, it is nearly impossible to get the cord through the cord cover, the cord cover will not screw together properly. I had already drilled the holes in the wall to mount the lamp, so I continued installation, bad decision on my part!

You must buy extra screws (8-32x1 1/4), the recommended lightbulbs did not work with it, and the lampshade came kind of botched in an obvious-looking way. The lampshade bothers me but at this point I'm just pleased that it's functioning. Took a lot of troubleshooting during installation; would not recommend unless you're willing to deal with the BS.

Instructions are not for a log home.

Could attach to my log cabin wall after making adjustments to attachment instructions

Bang for your buck

Looks high end

Cute lamp!

I love how it looks in this space! Definitely the extra lighting it needed. The screws for mounting the lamp were too short. Had to purchase longer ones separately.

Bad design

The screws that attach the base to the mounting plate are too short. You have to add spacers between the plate and the wall before it will work. Additionally the part of the lampshade that goes over the top and around the light bulb isn't tall enough for the led bulbs I had. They are dimmable 20 watt bulbs with the equivalent brightness of 150 watt bulb. Should have been another quarter inch taller to accommodate modern bulbs. Thirdly, good luck threading the power cable through the pole section...

Bigger than picture

When taking this lamp out of the box I was amazed how many pieces needed to be put together! It would take awhile. I'm returning this. Lamp shade is too big for where I wanted to put it. Would not buy again!

Great Value but Challenging Install

This is a great value with the included metal cord conduit. It looks great and more expensive than it was. However, be warned on the install - the instructions are poor as others have said. They are detailed but omit some details a begininer would need. If you are expericed mounting items on walls and basic electrical fixtures, you should be OK. The supplied fixture mounting bolts are too short as other have noted and I replaced them with extra cabinet hardware bolts (same thread size) I ha...

Nice lamp but not without installation problems.

I like the lamp, but unfortunately the screws that hold the lamp to the wall were 1/4 “ too short. I had to make a trip to the hardware store to purchase the correct size. The second problem encountered had to do with the size of the electrical cord and metal cord holder. The cord fit so tightly in the metal tubes making it almost impossible to screw the tubes together. Lastly, we only received 1 of 2 screws required to attached the cord hiding bracket to the wall. I called the company to h...

Terrible directions.

I loved the product.

Color is not Bronze

It's 95% Black. The picture looks bronze and it states it's bronze but it's more like a flat black color with a small ring of bronze around the base. The instructions could be better to imo.

Poor instructions, non-fitting pieces, arms bent

While this lamp looks pretty, quality control is abysmal. Screws were not long enough to secure lamp to wall cap, had to purchase longer ones. Instructions were written by someone who was either very expeirenced at putting up a lamp, or didn't know what they were talking about. To add insult to injury, once up (took 2 hours to figure it out, and one of us has electrified 3 houses), the entire unit is bent alightly off, so there is no way other than to break it to get it to extend horizontally co...
