What Customers Are Saying
The chandelier has an elegant and modern design, and customers generally praise its high-quality construction and ample lighting. Many find it easy to install and suitable for updating the look of dining rooms or entryways. However, some customers experienced issues with the glass shade installation, buzzing noises, or concerns about quality control. A few also felt the chandelier was too small for their spaces. Overall, it is considered a great value and attractive lighting option, as long as the appropriate bulb wattage is used and installation is done properly.

Would RecommendThe glass shades are held in place with a round metal "nut". I tried initially to screw these on with my fingers, but very difficult, as there is not much side clearance with the glass shade. I finally found a round plastic "cup" that was used on a circular drill index I had. I had to trim the edges off, and then the ID of this cup fit the nut nicely, and allowed me to screw the nut all the way down. I can't imagine the company would not have included something like this in the package. Oth...
Very long chain and wires
Would RecommendThis was my first time installing a chandelier and took me much longer than it would for someone with experience. The chain and wires are extremely long so measure before and make the chain and cut the wires to the appropriate length before assembling the light fixture. It looks great and now I think I need a more modern table and chair set to go with it :)
Two defective chandeiers
Would Not RecommendThis chandelier is very attractive and we really liked it until it went bad. After about 6 weeks one of the lights started blinking on and off, then stayed off for long periods. We were unable to make it work properly so took it back and got another just like it. The second one did the same thing, only it malfunctioned immediately. Apparently Portfolio is having quality control issues. We will not take a chance on another one. Having to install and uninstall three fixtures to get one to work is...
Looks really nice!
Would RecommendGood quality light. Was really easy to put up. Looks really nice in the foyer.
buzzing noise
Would Not RecommendMy electrician installed light and looks great just like in picture. Used dimmable soft white led bulbs ( sylvania mdel 78044) per product specs with new leviton dimmabke light switch. The light makes a very loud buzzing noise which my electrician could not eliminte. The light is also very harsh even with soft white bulbs. Is there a specific bulb model which works with this chandelier to stop buzzing, less harsh and doesn’t change all colors in room? Thanks
LightUpMyLife
Would RecommendEasy to unpack and expand the chandelier's three additional arms. The electrical installation can be easily done by anyone. But the overall decorative chain link length in comparison to the overall length of the electrical chord and the "safety cable" was substantially longer. I now have approximately 8'-6" of unused electrical chord and "safety cable" enough to install 2 additional chandeliers! Is there a rational purpose for this? The retainer "collar" for the glass globe is hard to turn, if ...
Hello Zeus: The extra wiring allows for additional chain to be added for higher ceilings. Thank you for your review.

Nice light - small
This is a nice light that would look good in a dining room or kitchen. It had 9 lights so I thought it would be big enough for a two-story entry but it was much too small.
Absolutely transformed our kitchen, beautiful!!!

Retirement Remodel
Would RecommendRemodeling whole house after retiring the end of January. Installed new hardwood hickory flooring starting in family room, kitchen and dining room. had new quartz counter tops. today ref. and stove. The new light goes well with stainless appliances. My wife and I are doing all work except counter top.
Defective Product
Would Not RecommendWe purchased the light for our dining room. Installation was easy. When we turned on light switch, the light tripped our circuit breaker. We checked to make sure the wires were correct and they were. Turned the breaker back on and this time, the light caught fire near the ring. Clearly defective. Will try a new one to see if this is a defect in the product. Beautiful light though.
Happy but some issues
Would RecommendI purchased this about 2 weeks ago and happy with the chandelier but had some issues installing. The length of the chain and cord was abnormally long. I had to trim down them both by about 4 feet and I have a 10 foot ceiling. Beyond that installation was easy. I'd recommend stronger screws when installing, the ones they provide are small and I feel wouldn't hold this chandelier properly.
looks good, but...
Would Not Recommendcheaply made! wire is caught by arms and could pose a shorting hazard. Had to return this product!
Nice light. Well made. Looks good.
Would RecommendThe setup is pretty easy. The light assembly is fairly light weight so it makes lifting the light into place fairly easy. The hardest part about the install is routing the wires up through the center of the upper hook. I highly recommend cutting the wires prior to this step. Measure the wires, cut and the route the wires through. The threaded tube that goes into the light outlet box sticks up quite high into the box which makes feeding the wires through quite difficult. Start with the ground wir...
Defective - returned
Would Not RecommendWhile nice looking the cheaply made in China electrical parts were defective. After installing this light a short in the internal circuit caused it to ruin the newly installed dimmer switch. To make sure the defect was in the fixture and not the switch a standard switch was installed. When turned on it tripped the circuit breaker. After wasting more than an hour on this piece of junk it is going back.
Hello Ry: The buzzing could possibly be caused by the dimmer switch. We recommend using a ELV dimmer (Electronic Low Voltage) with our LED fixtures... Read More
