Should have lasted longer than it did
Would Not RecommendExtremely disappointed with longevity of this product. My similar Radio Shack outdoor thermometer lasted for 2 decades, this barely lasted for two years before giving inaccurate readings from the remote sensor. New batteries didn't help.

the accuracy of my weather station
The last one I had lasted for many years. And it was the same model that I purchased this time around. The only difference is the last one cost half the price of this current one, but everything has gone up greatly over the past few years so go figure.

Would Not RecommendIt's not as good as Model 00522SBDIA2, which Lowe's used to provide. That model provided Max and Min outdoor temperatures at a glance, with no buttons needed.

Ten years and still going
Would RecommendI bought one of these at least 10 years ago. It still works. Battery life is great! The sensor is in our enclosed crawlspace and the receiver is in our family room. I use it to monitor temperature and humidity in the crawlspace, and I always know, early on, if the dehumidifier in the crawlspace has stopped working. If, maybe, someday this Acurite device fails, I will definitely buy another one.
